I've worn Salomon for decades because they fit my feet well. I needed to replace the Montrail trail shoes that are no longer made. While I have not worn them out yet, they will serve the purpose for which I used the others.

The media could not be loaded. I liked the fit of the shoes and It's comfortable to wear. Maybe we’ll try to break this to the mountain trails????

Good multi-surface runner

Good running shoes The tread is designed for running on mixed surfaces and Salomon's lacing is excellent ofor evening out tension on your midfoot while you run. From the multiple pairs of Salomons I've owned, there seems to a slight difference in sizes from model to model. This one ran a 1/4 size smaller for me. I did insert an insole with more support, as the one that came with this shoe is 4mm of easily compressed foam. Overall recommended.
