These are nice, but didn't work for me

I have a relative that has been trumpeting the joys of ownership of these shoes, so when I needed a pair of shoes for an upcoming trip I ordered a pair. They looked good, but just didn't feel comfortable on my feet- the toe box is too wide, my feet swam around in them and got sore after a half hour walking in them. I had to return them and go with a different kind of shoe. I really like the bungee laces, I wish that were done on more brands of shoes.

New version! Size difference

This new version V8 is clearly sized differently. I've had 3 pairs previous to this and all were size 10. I ordered another 10 and it was like wearing clown shoes. I've also seen other reviewers complain of bad quality in new materials since. I'm trying 1 more time before I move on because I was at one time a huge fan of these. Let the trial begin...

Great shoes

Love these shoes a ton, they fit great, look awesome and I love the lace less system. My only complaint is that the string that comes down and attaches over the toe creates a pinch point in the shoe. You can't feel any discomfort from it, but it does cause early wear and tear at that point of the shoe.. over all though, awesome shoes

I like everything about this shoe. Very comfortable with no need to be broken in. Ready to wear casual or go for a long hike first day.

Best hiking shoe out there and tried most all of them.

I put @1500 dirt and rock trail hiking miles a year on these shoes. I go thru @ pair a year. Great shoe.

Low quality

At first was beautiful, but !!! after two weeks it showed the other face of itself. Heavy, uncomfortable, hard to wear and take it off. the fabric is very cheap, this model made by low quality material, the fabric in front of shoe worn from four side, and sole after 2 month was worn. And after 3 months out of shaped. This is a $25 to $30 shoes, not over $130. Really disappointing. Don't waste your money.

le nuove Salomon XA Pro 3D V8 mi hanno stupito, migliorato il confort della scarpa, più morbigo del vecchio modello. Unica pecca se così si può dire, per chi come me ha la fiocca o collo del piede un po più alto, l'ingresso del piede è un po più stretto rispetto al vecchio modello. Per risolvere il problema ho acquistato sempre qua su Amazon un nuovo paio di lacci "Salomon Quicklace".

Leider nicht mehr das, was sie Mal waren

Ich war jahrelang zufrieden, aber jetzt gebe ich es auf. Schon allein die richtige Größe zu finden, ist ein Glücksspiel. Frühe hatte ich die 43 1/3 und die passten wie angegossen. Jetzt mit 44 2/3 immer noch unzufrieden. Zu schmal, vorne drückt es. Einfach kein Schuh mehr zum wohlfühlen. Und von der Haltbarkeit will ich gar nicht sprechen. Jetzt werde ich mich anderen Herstellern widmen, vielleicht können die es besser.

Ich bin wie immer zufrieden. Die Schuhe sind bequem, robust und bei jedem Wetter angenehm zu tragen.
