MAKES FOR A GREAT WHITE-WASH for Abstract Paintings

I’ve used many inexpensive titan whites for the sole purpose of washes for my artwork, and this ones the best for the money, no doubt. I use pro quality acrylics for my brush to medium approaches and try to save a buck when it comes to my white washes and the ratio is but 1 part paint to 8 parts water (give or take). This saves me a ton especially as washes are a key element to my recent large scaled abstracts... can’t go wrong, and if you haven’t tried washes with your bracts, you ought to try! Happy painting...

good coverage

I bought this to cover some ugly black paint on an old lamp. It covered it pretty well after a couple layers; and I don't see any of the dark paint coming from underneath. There's no strong odors and a good value!

Is quite thick.

Used for rock painting and does the job. Did have a problem with the lid and wouldn't close. But probably not the norm.

it's good paint

It's paint, just good old basic paint to mix with other colors. I use a lot of white to make other colors so I got a quantity. Works. My bottle came without any kind of label, though, so I had to write on it to distinguish it easily from mediums and gesso.

Great Paint, But Ordered New Supply and Was Disappointed at Inconsistent Product

I bought the Titanium White, originally, as part of the 12-color set and it was perfect. However, when I'd exhausted my initial supply and ordered an individual 1 pint bottle of the Titanium White, I found that, first of all, it arrived in a different bottle, made of a transparent, thin-walled plastic, and the consistency of the paint was not medium-bodied, as before, but rather, a bit on a the runny side. It was difficult to get the same results from it because it spreads quite differently. There needs to be more attention paid to keeping the product of consistent quality.

Quality for a beginner

Thin paint

I was hoping from the description that this paint would be thick. It's thin!
