A Favorite

This is was one of my favorite games as a kid growing up, so of course I needed to buy it for my own kids to enjoy! It's is a great brain workout and helps kids think creatively!

Fun game

Received this quickly and it’s a good quality game. The boards you write answers on aren’t very durable so if you can I would splurge on a better version of this game.

Thanksgiving Tradition

Every year for the past 15 years I’ve brought Scattergories to play after Thanksgiving dinner well last year we didn’t get to play because my game grew legs during my move…hmmm! So I had to repurchase it I haven’t opened it yet but, a few things looking at the outside of the box and on Amazon it doesn’t look like the one I had before. (Fingers ????????) Overall is one of the of the best board games I’ve ever played in my life!!!

Very Fun Game

This has been one of my favorite games for years. It's great for kids over 10 or a group of smaller kids together. I wouldn't pair kids under 10 against adults (It's not fair). I have quite a few versions of this game over the years as you run out of the sheets, the box gets worn, etc. This one is kind of strange, hence the 4 star rating. The Privacy screens (to keep your answers covered) are supposed to fold up. We broke every one when we tried to fold them. I tried different methods after the first one broke and no luck so they are useless except as a hard surface to right on if you're not at a table.

Fun and funny!

First time playing this game. I bought it as a request from my bestfriend for a Christmas party we held. When I say we were laughing in tears from playing haha we were having such a great time! Easy to understand. Easy to follow. *My biggest recommendation is that the game requires you to write on paper. The game does not include writing utensils so make sure you have some pens/pencils. **Also, the game comes with 4 boards to use as a clipboard to help you write on a solid area. If you have more than 4 people playing, play at a table or grab a few clipboards. We used magazines lol It was a total of 7 people, including myself. I hope this review helps!

Doesn’t have an audible timer

Like the retro 1999 version. Returned 2 of 3 that were ordered for this reason and were intended as gifts. Description indicates two batteries required. The timer provided does not require a batteries. Great game and many laughs!

4 Players Only

The description of the product mentions that 6 players can play but that is NOT the case with this one in particular. There are only 4 sets of the lists and ONLY 4 of the folder pads.

Great Family Game

Bought this for my Grandies at Christmasgood game based on an old family favourite, all ages and we thoroughly enjoyed playing ...would definitely recommend.
