Perfect bike! You won't regret this purchase at all.

Starting off, if you don't read the rest of this review, just know that this is truly one of the best quality bikes I've ever purchased! You won't regret it, go buy it now! I bought the the 16" bike for my 4 year old niece's birthday. She was absolutely ecstatic and took right to it. The bike was extremely easy to assemble. It took a total of about 15 minutes to put together. It took more time to get it completely unwrapped than it did to put together. There are 3 main components to the bike and you didn't get any extra tools to assemble it. Each piece snapped right into place without any guess work. The instructions were straightforward and to the point, but descriptive enough for me to follow along with. The only part that was a little bit harder for me was to twist the handlebars into place. I'm sure I could have gotten it with a little bit more effort, but I left it up to my husband to quickly lock into place. I loved the ease and speed of putting it together and I am not the person who usually does that in our household. The bike is made of high quality materials. Even the plastic streamers on the handle bars are not your typical cheap, plastic ones that normally come flying off when riding your bike. These ones you'll have to seriously man handle to try and rip off. The paint seems very durable and will keep the bike looking brand new for a long time. The paint color is a little bit more blue than teal like it says in the description, but is still very aesthetically pleasing. One thing I loved about this bike above others I've had for my own kids, that made me lean towards this bike for my niece is the handle on the back of the seat. I know how hard it can be to bend over and try to balance a kid when they're trying to learn how to ride a bike without training wheels. This will help tremendously when that time comes for her. Another thing I loved is that you can adjust the height of the seat in a snap. You just pull out the safety lever and adjust the height quickly. There's no tools needed at all. Overall, I am so pleased with this bike and makes me wish I would have had a bike like this for my kids!

Absolutely AWFUL!

I bought this bike for my autistic 5 year old son for Christmas. We opened it and the green paint on the frame is all gouged up down to the silver metal and the plastic on the seat is slashed. I'm so irritated and I called the Schwinn customer service line and they said they could replace the seat but it would take up to 2 weeks but couldn't do anything for the frame. We would have to fully return through Amazon and repurchase again. It wouldn't be here in time for Christmas morning and I would pay more because I originally bought when it was on sale. So we went ahead and tried to do the quick assembly and give it to him christmas morning and then replace the seat when it gets here. During assembly we found we were missing pieces for the training wheels and the handle bars will not go on. You are supposed to place handle bars on, push down and twist and we could not get them to twist all the way forward as the instructions stated mo matter how hard we tried. Also, it was poorly welded, big pockets in the welding on the joints of the frame. I will never ever buy another Schwinn bike again. I cannot even get this damn thing back in the box it came in because the handle bars are stuck half twisted on. I am returning this and now my son won't have his big gift to open for Christmas. I am so disappointed.

Still waiting for all the parts to build!

The bike is a great bike and my 4 year old son loves it. Unfortunately he has not had a chance to ride it yet as we did not receive all the parts to install the training wheels. After getting the run around a little, we finally reached a place from either the seller or manufacturer where they were going to send parts. All we were missing were the washer type things and the two brackets. When we got the replacement parts (which was an ordeal in itself because they sent it to the wrong address) it was a set of two training wheels but only one wheel had the complete part set. We were still missing one of the brackets. At this point we would have just gone out and gotten a bracket ourselves except it was a unique shape. So we called again, got someone who said they could send just the missing parts (rather than another set of wheels that we don’t need). Well, we got those missing parts and the bracket that came was not the correct one for our bike. So here we are today, 7 week’s after my kid’s birthday and he still hasn’t been able to ride his new bike. Without the bracket, the attachment of the training wheel is not sturdy and the bike falls over after a few minutes of him sitting on it. I would say if you could guarantee that the bike comes with everything you need, this is a great purchase. However, after now a third attempt counting the initial purchase, we still don’t have what we need. Very disappointing.

Very pretty and great quality bike!

Very happy with this bike! We bought it for our daughter's birthday and she LOVES it. The colors are so pretty and aren't 'overly girly'. She was able to easily jump on and get situated, the proportions for her age (3) are perfect. The adjustable handlebars and seat will also give it some longevity which I'm grateful for. The training wheels have 2 settings, one that make the wheels rest on the ground, and the other has them hover for when she's training which is really nice. All the materials are solid quality, the metal has good weight to it, the rubber has a good grip, the ribbons are nice, all of it is just well made, what I'd expect from a Schwinn bike. Setting up the bike was extremely easy, took my husband under 15 minutes. Overall very happy, and so is my daughter!

Excelente calidad, buena relación costo-beneficio. Muy recomendable para aprender a utilizar la bicicleta sin el uso de llantas auxiliares (aunque si la incluye)
