Coast Guard approved type 4

I've not even taken this on the water yet, but it seems about as durable as most inexpensive stuff you buy today. The polyester cover is thin, but well sown, and the straps are sewn to the cover in 4 places. It uses multiple layers of closed cell foam, so it's flexible, but will also hold water between the layers.

Not really. However you need one on your boat. A hard ring can be thrown much further but this is pretty good.

Booster seat

I bought this so my son could see over the steering wheel on our boat. And if I need a floatation device I have an extra one handy. Works great for a booster seat.

Get this for your Coast Guard safety inspection

So I volunteered to have a free Coast Guard safety inspection of my vessel. Passed everything, but didn't have a tossable floating device on deck... oopsie. Out of 20 inspection points, this was my only mark, so naturally I had to remediate that... I hope I never have to use this device, but it looks and feels to be pretty well made and is easily stored on deck...

Must have!!

We have a brand new boat and somehow missed the fact that by law we needed this product on board ????Random boat check on the lake 4th of July weekend we didn’t have one.. yikes. It brought an end to our day and $125 fine!! This product is as stated and will keep us safe and out of trouble ????
