Beautiful jacket, but not packaged appropriately

I bought this beautiful jacket but returned it because I could see that I should have bought one size larger. But the most disturbing thing was how it was packaged. Seta had put it in only a thin plastic bag and then UPS put that in a thin plastic mailing envelope. When it arrived, beads had fallen off and the stiff cardboard insert that presumably was supposed to help keep the shape of the jacket arrived crumpled and torn. So I got in touch with Amazon. The representative told me that it was his highest priority to contact the seller about the packaging. I said I wanted to replace the jacket with a larger size but wanted assurance that it wouldn't be damaged again in the shipping process. Feeling better, I ordered the larger size and returned the other one. The second jacket arrived packaged identically to the first. Again, when I took the jacket out of the plastic bag beads had fallen out and were laying at the bottom. This time there was not even a cardboard insert to help support it and some of the buttons were unbuttoned making me think that someone else had returned it and it was passed on to me. I ended up keeping the jacket, it is beautiful, but be aware that there is no care taken in packaging it for shipping. The jacket is heavy but delicate and also expensive. I don't recommend this seller.

Beautiful but tiny

This is a truly beautiful jacket and the weight and feel of the beading is quite expensive looking. The jacket was labeled a 4x but the sizing was closer to a 1x, even when compared to the sizing of her other jacket - where the 4x was a bit small, but definitely a 4x. This jacket was inches narrower despite being marked as the same size. It's a lovely jacket and I'd certainly keep it if it fit. Just sad to see 'size inclusivity' only extends to the label and not the product.

WAY TOO SMALL!

This jacket is STUNNING hunny but the sizing is far from plus size. I ordered other pieces from seta and they all fit but this! I am so dissappointed, this is the one item I wanted the most and it is literally about 3 sizes too small, no where near "'plus size". So sad this didnt work out.

Beautiful jacket; Amazon Shipping at its Worst

The product itself is exactly as advertised. It’s beautiful, well made, etc. However, Amazon shipped this $380 jacket in a flimsy plastic envelope. So, of course, this product arrived damaged. Beads were fell out when the envelope was opened and entire rows of beads were missing from the jacket. We returned the jacket and ordered another. It was the same issue but was also missing the tag (someone else had clearly opened and returned it). Recommend skipping Amazon all together and just buying directly from Setta.

Not for me

I was really hoping to like this. I’m 5’4, 147lbs and I ordered the L. It was a little big but there’s no way I could have sized down. I fell in love with the similar skirt but sadly it was to short so I had to return it. I thought well, I’ll just get the jacket instead! The jacket has way to much going on for me. And it’s heavy!!!! And the built in shoulder pads look ridiculous on me. They should be removable. And immediately (same with the skirt) the beads started falling off everywhere. Additionally, after holding the jacket I got black stuff all over my hands. No thanks, not for me.

Disappointed with the quality of finishing

As you can see, one of the shoulder pads was stitched and the other was completely unstitched with the armhole. For an item that costs $400+ this quality of finishing is extremely disappointing. They should find a way to keep the shoulder pads in place instead of a couple flimsy stitches here and there. That could make or break the look. Needless to say, I’m returning the item. Sigh.
