Large bin, picks up cat's fur

This worked great for us. I love the larger capacity bin, with my other Shark I have to stop and empty the bin halfway through vacuuming. It's pretty easy to maneuver and I like the swivel head though it took a bit for me to get used to. I do have a problem with the vacuum base randomly falling when locking it into place to move the vacuum to a different level or room. And the hook that holds the extended hose is off center so it takes a minute to put back in place. Did a good job picking up my cat's fine thin fur. I feel like it's a good vacuum for the price.

High quality feel

Everything used gives the feel of high quality from the handle to the power head...the brush roller automatically turns off when stood upright. Located on the on/off switch you can also power on/of the brush roller. The clear debris container makes monitoring when full easy and emptying it takes seconds. The swivel design makes maneuvering it is and it's slim enough to fit under toe kicks and couches without issue. A quick mention is that it is packaged extremely well along with assembly taking just one Phillips head bolt and a couple hose connections and the brush head clicks into place. It's light and isn't extremely loud. It's a great combination of form and function.

Would be more amazing if it had a light

I love this. It’s a little heavier than what I’m used to but it works great. When I was vacuuming in my kitchen, I got to the overhang underneath the bottom set of cabinets. With my old vacuum, I could see everything since it had a little “headlight”. With the Shark, I had to stop and look really good or use a paper towel to brush it all out to a main area. I’ll probably end up sticking one of those headlights for Crocs on it. :-) It has an option to do bare floors or carpets. It worked well on my shag type rug as well as other area rugs. It also has an emergency release in the event you find it sucking up the whole rug. For some reason I keep thinking the power button is on the handle where you hold to push it, which seems like it would be more convenient than having to find where the emergency release is, which isn’t located by the power button either. I’m going to have to get used to where these things are because I know in the event I end up sucking up a rug, the curtains or a pet, I’d be panicking too much to remember the important switches are on the side of the vacuum. Personally I would’ve put something like that on the handle for quick access, but I know I’ll eventually get the hang of it.

The media could not be loaded. Shark XL capacity, You’ll appreciate this. First, I wanted to mention that this Shark is exactly what I needed. Great for bare floors and carpet. What I like.. Let’s start with the unpacking, because this is important.✅ All of the material that this comes packaged in is all recyclable. KUDOS, for the environment. There is no plastic in sight, everything is stored in recyclable brown packaging that resembles paper bags.❤️ Next assembly!! Easy piece of cake, snapping and one screw which is the handle. Took a few minutes and the quick setup instructions are on the box. So no digging for manuals. Unless you wanted to. ✅ Next up.. The Shark Vacuum.. I wanted to mention this first.. what I immediately noticed.. The large capacity storage! My home is about 4,000sq ft. This limits the amount of times dumping the debris and dust. It really is bigger than most vacuum. ✅ Next I love the swivel, it knows which way to turn based on how you push the handle. Almost like the shark is intuitive, and leading the way.✅ Speaking of leading the way, the suction is so strong that it pulls the vacuum forward, you just need to keep up.✅ Speaking of suction there is a button to slide to adjust the suction power.✅ The suction power is strong, so pet hair, hair, bird feathers doesn’t stand a chance. ✅ The Shark is attacking. ✅ It’s almost as if it has a kind of its own, speaking of pulling. ???? While it pulls in the direction, to save your arms..✅ this is the reason for 4 stars. CON, this bad boy is HEAVY.???? Heavier than my other vacuums so larger capacity means more weight.???? But it’s a beast, as far as cleaning goes.✅ Next feature, It comes with detachable tools. I like the crevice tool, and how it is uniquely shaped precisely to get the dust hiding along the crown moldings. ✅ Speaking of crevice tools it’s located am stashed nice and neatly hugged tightly attached to the vacuum. ✅ There is a dusting brush as well as an upholstery attachment as well, definitely appreciated.✅ Next the cord, it’s long enough to get where you need it.✅ Con: The detachable hose extends to about 10ft, but a little short for my needs.???? I have higher ceilings so it doesn’t get where I need it to go, but again it is very powerful and helpful.???? Speaking of hose this is another con, right where the vacuum indicator brush light is located. Well, the hose that attaches to the bottom of the vacuum detaches during cleaning, and this is annoying because the debris can come right back out of the vacuum.???? This happened several times while cleaning, until I positioned it to where it stayed. Let’s, talk filter.. It’s reusable y’all! once a month rinse the filter let dry 24 hours, and you’re back in business. ✅ Time and Money saving..✅❤️ Last, is value to quality. I definitely feel that the value to quality match and is worth the investment especially if you own pets, or have a higher home with a big family.✅ This definitely saves time, and if it saves time it also saves money in the long run. ???????? Final thoughts, ???????? this is a great vacuum to have, overall.. it has great suction power, large capacity, swivel and easy to assemble. Cons, heavy, hose issues occasionally, and short hose.

Perfect for apartment

This Shark NV141 Navigator Anti-Allergen Plus Upright Vacuum is the perfect size for my three bedrooms apartment. I like the white stylish look of it and that it has a large dust bin, I have pets so a large dust storage is very much appreciated in my household! Things I like about it: - Powerful enough to suck the hair and pet fur out of the carpet. - Large waste container, again perfect for those with long hair fur babies! - Maneuverable to reach corners and space under the furniture. Things I don't like about it:: - I would prefer the cord to be longer. - Quite heavy, not the best weight distribution. Can be awkward to move around, I still haven't had the motivation to try vacuuming the staircase with it. Overall, I give it 5 stars as you are getting a nice mid range vacuum at a good deal for a relatively low price.
