Medium Protection for Those Lovely Hardwood floors.

The floor protector pads are of decent quality, and sold at a reasonable price. I have hardwood floors, and having refinished a lot of them on my. hands and knees, I am exceedingly careful about just what is placed upon them. These pads I bought more for the color than for the ultra-protection that I would normally have chosen. I have one room with a dark heart pine floor, the finish is OK, and this darker color does not stand out as would some of my other floor protectors. This rubber pad is of a thinner and less durable qualify than the type that I ordered for my maple floors. However, the more protective pads are fashioned of a completely different polymer, and are light in color, thus my use of them on maple floors. I would not have used these pads on the maple floors, they just are not thick enough to offer the type of anti-scratch, resistance protection that the polymer protectors offer. These pads are very flexible, and after brief use, have already become a bit flattened. Fortunately they are in a room that is never used, otherwise I would use the polymer pads, regardless of the color mis-match. So, for what they are, I gave them four stars. If you are using them on a carpeted surface, or on a rug, they would be much more dependable than for direct surface use on a hardwood floor. I would recommend these for use on a covered surface, they are adequate for preventing marks on your carpets. But I would not recommend them for direct use on a hardwood floor. They just do not possess the structural integrity for such use. As you will have read in my earlier comments' I am using them, but in a room where they will receive little to no use. Should conditions change in that room, I will revert to the lighter-colored, and non-matching pads. I would rather avert my eyes from the non-matching pads, then find myself back on my hands and knees' refinishing another floor.

PERFECT!

I found some mismatched, old, and too small cups to fit under my couch legs. The couch is on hardwood and it still slid around, aside from not looking very nice. I put these under the legs and now the couch is solid, does not move, and it looks great! It's all in the details!

Use to proctect flooring and to prevent sliding.

These are very good for protecting flooring against heavy furniture, and also where the furniture slips and slides too easily, like beds or couches that like to move around over time. This item is very grippy.

need it to stay put on a wood floor ? this is the thing then

I love the grip on these. Time will tell if they leave any marks but fortunately my wood floor has a lot of color variation being s distressed floor so if it does then chances are it won't show a lot anyway. Besides I'm not likely to have the area where they are open anyway. Main thing is I want my recliner to stay put and not move around. And these excel at the task of doing that. update - just added a couple pics since someone had a question about horizontal dimensions. These measure 2 inches on the inside. So they will hold a 2 inch square leg. On another note I have had these for a while now and have seen no issues with them affecting my wood floor. It may depend on the finish on the floor. My flooring is red oak has a factory finish that has aluminum oxide embedded in the coating so it is very tough. (same stuff the use to make sandpaper). My flooring is also a rustic finish with a lot of color variation and factory burns made into the wood before it was coated. So it might handle this sort of thing different than regular oak with a stain and poly finish.

Table still slides

Put these under the legs of my coffee table to keep it from sliding on my tile floor. Bad news it still slides. Did not keep packaging so I cannot return.

Smaller than I realized. I had to take the ball off the bed and put the leg directly into the rubber pad. The bed still moves a little, but nothing like it did before we used these.

Perfect!

Just what I was looking for! Was looking for something that you really couldn’t tell Was there, that wasn’t too big or bulky. Something that was small and square where I can use it for my modern furniture. Best of all my furniture stays in place. Love these! Not gonna lie I was nervous and ordering them due to the reviews they had. But I do not regret ordering it now they are perfect

Simply put - it works

Does what's it's supposed to - can handle the weight of heavy furniture to protect flooring. The brown color does help make it less obvious as it blends is with dark wood furniture and flooring.
