They work

Nice height. Work great and ready to put together. Some of the edges are a little rough and would recommend light sanding before staining or painting. Don't make the screws super super tight as the wood is a little soft and might split.

I have to paint it?

Lovely ottoman but I was a bit miffed that it required an additional coat of protective spray paint according to the instructions in the pack. Surely that would have been done in manufacture for outside furniture ! Very silly. However, it is a well-designed item and the color is beautiful. Part of a gift so a bit hard to explain it needs additional painting.

Nice Foot rest

I had to send back the first one. The second one has been great. Its not particularly sturdy. We've kept it in a covered porch since June at the river. So far so good.

You get what you pay for..

This was easy enough to put together, but over time, even after treating wood with protective stain, the wood begins to crack and bolts repeatedly have to be tightened. Overall though, it is fine and has served it's purpose. I have had it for over a year now, and it is still in one piece, so that's something anyway.

I bought this outdoor ottoman to go with another we have on our porch. It is very flimsy but after my husband reinforced it I was able to paint it to match the other furniture and it works well enough. Down the road it will have to be replaced unlike the existing one that will last forever....but we paid a lot for that bonus.
