Vacuum works better with a bag

The bag is great for continuous vacuuming of small particles without clogging the filter. I use these bags regularly for cleaning cool ashes from my pellet grill, fireplace and firepit, and occasionally for drywall dust. Without these bags, the filter clogs and looses suction within minutes, but with the bags I can vacuum for extended periods. They also keep fine particles from escaping. That said, the bags often break long before they are full. When this happens, the filter clogs, suction is lost and you have to stop and change the bag and clean the filter. For the price, they should hold up better.

Filtered exhaust air!

This keeps your vacuum motor filter clean. I should have gotten this tank vacuum bag years ago! In the past, I only relied on the motor filter to filter the exhaust air. Now, the exhaust air is double filtered, creating a cleaner atmosphere and keeps the motor filter clean longer. Just toss the vacuum bag when it's full. This bag is for dry pickup only.

Bags rip/tear during operation

I am using these bags to remove "Fly Ash " from my chimney they have torn during removal of this fine ash before they were full, resulting in clogging of the secondary filter resulting a dramatic loss of suction. The bags perform very well until they tear.

Insist on the original

I noticed that Lowe's and home Depot no longer carry anything from Shop-Vac. This includes the bags. I purchased bags at Lowes labeled as an "exact match" promising high efficiency with low dust. Those bags fit the hose port poorly and tore very easily. If you sucked up a nail it was a guaranteed bag buster. Dust was going everywhere. These Shop-Vac high efficiency bags are the next best thing to a HEPA filter vacuum.

Genuine Shop Vac bags

I haven't used them yet but they are genuine ShopVac bags and these are far superior and last longer compared to the lower quality white ShopVac bags. These are worth the extra money because they don't tear as easily if something sharp etc enters the vac. The huge bonus is they filter much more and smaller particles than the regular bags. Made a mistake and bought the regular...never again...only these from now on

total rip off

theres just no winning with SHOPVAC these bags are way too expensive no matter where you go, cant even get them from china or anything the SHOPVAC company has the market completely sealed. I have gone the route of building my own cyclone separator in order to reduce the speed at which these bags fill which is very fast. And dont think they wont rip just because you pay a fortune for them . There is simply no other option if you need to to extract fine dust and you have a SHOPVAC vacuum. The idea behind the scam is that fine dust bags are used by pros and thus the pros will just pass the expense on to their clients so who cares. The other idea behind it is that if one needs to avoid dust they will pay any price in order to protect their health or property from damage . Also If you look at these bags the wrong way they will tear.

Very good by expensive

The bags performe very well but the cost often feels overpriced for some applications. Although it is not very practical to change bags for different applications, you'll appreciate the quality of the bags for very fine dust such as from sanding plaster but a lower cost bag would be adequate for picking-up wood shavings, sand and other coarse debris.

Better then the cheaper knock offs

I originally purchased the aftermarket bags. Never again as it was made poorly. Thin materials tore 2 bags trying to install. Definitely would purchase these OEM bags again. You get what you pay for.

A. bit pricey

Last one I used broke in the Shop Vac so I had a big mess on my hands. These bags are a bit pricey in my opinion and should be stronger for the cost. I could not find anything else to replace these so I had to order again.
