Not a pickleball, but good for "Skilzball" in the back yard
I wanted a ball that I could hit back and forth with my grandchildren in the back yard or on grass at a park using pickleball paddles, and this ball works for that. It's easily collapsed between your fingers and thumb, but it has enough resilience that we can volley it with the paddles. It doesn't bounce like a pickleball nor fly as far, but I don't think it will break anything if the hit is wild. So, if you want to play a paddle volleyball game with rules you invent, this will work. The game develops hand-eye coordination, teaches reaching and lunging, and aiming the ball, so the skills should transfer to real pickleball.

Excellent training balls
These training balls have been a great way for my kids to get an early jump on spring training for baseball and softball. Before it was warm enough to go outside, we used these to soft toss and hit them against a concrete basement wall. Then, when the weather improved, we used them for batting practice in our yard, which is just not big enough for hitting real baseballs and softballs. So far, they have held up with no signs of damage or breakdown.

They have improved on the whiffle ball. It's held up to 100s of hits and gives great feedback on contact hitting.

realistic flight path for sure, may not be for younger kids though
so its best and touted trait that would lead most to purchase this, can also be its worst trait. These balls definitely are light, flexible, and have decent flight path realisticness. That makes them easier to throw, catch, and hit. It's these qualities that also make this, even with it's flexibility, potentially not recommended for youngest children as if it gets you in the face at a decent speed- you WILL feel it. You may not get injured or get a bruise- but it certainly feels like if hit hard enough- you could. So I would say, when kids are at a decent point with their motor skillls and mostly reliable in avoiding getting hit in the face by a ball- this is great for those kinds of kids. For kids with not quite the motor skills and reactability or have more reliable instincts to block a ball coming at their face- maybe not quite that safe unless you strictly limit activity in a way that guarantees these balls will never trave that fast (aka catch only between you and them, no actual games, no actual batting practice with kids or adults that can get this ball moving). Overall though, LOVE THESE as the "short flight" and "won't hurt" balls are so light- there is no practicality to them as it's like throwing, trying to play catch with, or hitting kleenex in the wind.

Great training balls, wish they were white with red seams like baseballs.
These are some of the best training balls for pregame and practice you can buy. Much better than any other limited flight/wiffle ball because they fly true and can be pitched in a light breeze with no issues. I only gave them four stars because I’m not a fan of the yellow color. IMO they would be better if they were white with red seams and resembled a baseball. Sklz please make a version that resembles a baseball.

They're extremely squishy!
These are super squishy. If you were to be a dad that got pelted in the face by a line drive you'd be happy if it was one of these rather than a real baseball, but you'd still feel it. Also, it is nice to not have to chase these all that far. They can also be pitched fairly accurately. About .5 or .75 between a good whiffle ball and a real baseball.

Good training limited flight balls
Best limited flight balls I have used as they can be used in windy conditions and show ball flight. These are not as durable as I would like as several of the balls have ripped after hitting.
