My Mistake

I had bought on trial basis Sof Sole All Sport Socks. I liked them and wanted to get more. I don't play sports but wanted these because my legs below the knee get very cold and I wanted them for that reason. The All Sport socks were ideal for this. I mistakenly ordered the Football Socks and there is definitely a difference; the Football sock is much thinner than the All Sport sock. Overall though; these are very well made socks and they fit well; that is true of both styles. I especially like how well they stay up. I you want thicker get the All Sport.

Fits over a very large calf lasted through a softball season

Long enough to be rolled down over itself a little bit. Normal thickness, support stitching for the arches are there. Overall buying more for soccer. 5’11” 165 fits nicely around very large calves. Doesn’t shred a hole in just one season :)

Quality doesn't last

I've worn these socks once and the bottoms are already starting to fray and wear out. My husband and I wore these for a Halloween costume and all we did was walk a couple blocks. Sad, bc they seemed really thick and good quality out of the box

Fits like a glove

It fits over my sons big calves. He is 6'1" maybe 220 pounds. So I recommend this to every person playing sports with big calves.

No stability (updated model)

I used to love these and always have bought them over the years. They last about 6-12 months and I love how lightweight they are. The latest ones I received though do not hold a good grip and my soccer cleats wiggle side to side as I’m playing… I’m guessing they might have changed the composition. I’m probably not ever wearing them again and I got multiple pairs at once… Frustrating.

Way too short

Ordered the largest size for my 15 year old high school football player and they are far to short to provide and coverage to his shins. Football season is cold and I ended up buying cold gear tights for under. Don’t buy if player is over 5’
