Like Chucks on Steroids; Fit True to Size

First off, let me say that I never write reviews, but I would be remiss if I failed to mention just how much I love these shoes! I am somewhat of a shoe minimalist, so every pair has to have a purpose and place. I have been looking for a pair of casual sneakers, and when I saw SOREL had a style, I knew I had to try them. I own a pair of SOREL boots and pair of sandals and love the brand. I used to wear Chucks years ago in college, and I loved them once they were broken in and comfy. These are like Chucks on steroids. The padding is so comfy, and they are just as stylish (in my opinion - the large SOREL across the bottom is a nice touch)! Sorels often run small, but I ordered these in my normal size (9.5) and have been very pleased with the fit. I even bought the red pair for my sister for a Christmas gift. She works for Carnival Cruise Line and has to have all-red shoes as part of the fun squad. I am so, so excited to send them to her; I know she will love them just as much!! Thanks for a great product!

Uncomfortable laces

The shoes fit well but if you tie the laces too snug the tongue will bunch up and start really hurting the top of your feet to the point you HAVE to take the shoes off. I love the sorel brand boots and was hoping for the same comfort in shoe form but sadly that was not the case. The laces are also pretty thick and so they like to come untied often.

Good for Walking/Standing

I was hesitant to order my normal size based on ratings that these ran small, but I found they ran tts. If anything, they're slightly narrow, but I have a wide foot, so that's expected. But, it's not narrow enough to be uncomfortable by any means. I'd also like to emphasize how amazingly comfortable these are for standing! The footbed is thick and almost like memory foam. I'm constantly standing for both of my jobs, and these held up great all day, and didn't bother me one bit -- and it was my first day wearing them! I highly recommend.

Perfect Fit

I am wearing the heck out of these shoes. Very cute and comfy. The only thing I don’t like are the laces which are round and too long and bulky for my petite frame. Will be picking up some shorter laces soon. I wear a size 5 normally and ordered a size 5 and they fit perfectly.

Runs a little narrow.

The shoe runs a little narrow. I thought it was all leather, but it was canvas.

Product looks nice. Shoe feels at first very tight. Shoe runs smaller than expected usually wear a 5.5 but in this shoe I should had got it half size up. Fast shipping

Love sorels,

All of their shoes are ridiculously comfortable and support my bad feet and bad back. It's amazing how well they do for my wide feet and high arches. I reccomend the brand for anyone with feet and back issues.

Sole is a tiny bit thicker than anticipated. There is a weird glue like edge around the toe of the shoe.

snug fit

This is a very nice looking shoe, exactly as the advertised picture. The insole is very comfy, though I haven't walked very far in them yet. My main comment is that the shoe is a very snug fit overall (UK size 5). Not tight but very snug. Also, small point, I don't know that I like the fat laces. Might go and buy replacement laces.
