Handy for lots of uses

Not just for eating, but trimming beard also. .... catches all the trims. Very handy for lots of uses. Plenty large enough to cover most of the chest and lap.

I've tried 'em all

My husband has such difficulty eating that we need a really heavy-duty clothing protector. The material this product is made of is just like a wetsuit. It washes well, air dries overnight, and does the job. So far, no stains that haven't washed out, and no leaks. With other clothing protectors I have tried, the waterproof backing eventually breaks down. I am hopeful that this one will have a longer life expectancy. It's quite heavy, and I wonder if it will be uncomfortably hot in the summer months, but so far no complaints from my husband.

Ended up using terry cloth bibs instead

These are really waterproof but the terry cloth ones were more comfortable and easier to throw in the regular wash and I ended up using those instead.

Not Comfortable The protector is waterproof and appears durable, but I found it very uncomfortable. It is hot and the closure irritates my neck.
