Still works
I have had mine the whole season and it is still working. The only issue I have is that it wants to keep changing from Fahrenheit to Celsius.

mine was not not accurate
I tested this unit. In a cup with 80% ice and the rest water. It should have read 32.0F. Te reading was 35.8. using water that was boiling, the reading was on the high end of 212F, as it would sometimes to go 213F. The unit does say it was calibrated but the margin of error is higher than I expected. Other than that, it seems to work OK.

Tiny... hard to operate on/off switch
I had no idea how small this was, and it didn't occur to me that this was really intended to be permanently mounted in a panel and permanently on (yet battery operated!). I bought for beer brewing temperature measurement while making yeast starters. If the switches (at least for turning it on an off) had been a button on the front side, and could be finger operated, I'd have kept this (and would have liked the fact that it was very small. But switches are on the back side AND require a probe to use. (Note: I never actually tested its function, since I had decided it was mechanically too cumbersome to use.) I returned it. This could have been avoided if there was a backside photo in the product description and some indication in the text that the on off buttons where on the back side and required a probe to activate -- and dimensions were provided.
