Awesome cutters

Pruners snap in moderate use

I have had two sets of these pruners, 4 tools in all. In less than a year all 4 tools have snapped under moderate use. I was pruning roses and soft fruit bushes when these items broke. Good luck in finding a UK contact to complain. Absolute rubbish and I will never touch S&J again

Nice and sharp but nip you!

No complaints on the functional and lightweight side, only that the hinge bit can easily nip the palm of your hand in a painful way if you are not careful. Not sure what the answer to this is but in terms of value for money and general snippiness, pretty good for the money.

Mini Pruner Set

Lovely little set just the size I needed to fit in my first grab tool bag. The quality seems a little on the poor side and the locking clasp is a bit of a fiddle for larger fingers. I'm sure if used as intended they will last.

Small secateurs

These were ideal, very comfortable in the hand and efficient cutting, possibly different coloured handles would make them even better and easier to spot if you put them down in the garden, I would suggest the plastic/rubber portion of the handle be yellow and black transverse stripes (This pattern is commonly used in nature to make a creature more obvious)
