Poor finish on the pieses

I loved the picture but the pieces had frayed Edges that had paper that had to be removed , some pieces were hard to fit together because of this Not the same quality as the last Springbox puzzle I purchased

Another Wonderful Springbok Puzzle

I've been buying Springbok puzzles for over 40 yrs. because of their superior quality. The pieces are sturdy and interlock firmly and no two pieces are the same. I found this puzzle to be one of the more challenging ones I've bought but I persevered and successfully finished it. The finished puzzle is exactly like the picture and quite pretty when done. I recommend this puzzle for anyone who wants quality and a challenge.

Good unique puzzle

Great puzzle. Strange odd puzzle pieces. Certainly not your average puzzle pieces, but that made it more fun. Had to work a little harder to figure it out. I liked that. Only challenge is finding a frame in its size. It’s not standard and I’m not willing to purchase a custom frame for a puzzle. Other than that it was very pretty and fun to assemble .

Relax, transport your mind

Great way to relax during these stressful times. I chose Springbok because their pieces are just the right size. The thickness helps by keeping pieces in place and easy to pick them up. Colors are rich and warm adding dimension to the scenery. At certain angles there’s a 3D feel and look to the picture. I felt drawn, transported to this part of the world. It’s as if I was reading a great book chapter after chapter. Then when I was done, I wished the story would go on. It did for me. I didn’t want to take it apart cause at this point I developed a connection. Imagining myself walking over the bridges and gondola rides thru the canals in Venice. I sealed it. This way I can continue to look at it and be transported to Venice, Italy.

Beautiful but needs some dissassembly

This appears to be a quality puzzle with some bizarre, nonuniform shapes, which for me is a positive. But, I have never had a new puzzle with so many already attached pieces. I'm guessing 10% of the pieces were already attached, either 2, 3, 4, and sometimes 5 pieces assembled together. Since I wanted a 1,000 piece puzzle, not a 900 piece puzzle, I took apart all the preassembled pieces. Springbok needs to check their puzzle cutting machinery.

Nice puzzle but missing piece

very nice puzzle. I thought this will be a nice gift but had no idea there was a missing piece. Too bad that kind of ruin the surprise. Otherwise, it's a good size puzzle.

Springbok - beautiful and fun like all the others they make

My father turned me on to these puzzles during the COVID epidemic and, honestly, Springbok made me fall in love with puzzles all over again. Not only are the pieces more interesting and easier to work with than traditional puzzles, but they're also visually distinct. The images chosen by Springbok are top-notch and beautiful, often containing little visual surprises that you only notice when scrutinizing the puzzles. Little things you wouldn't notice at first glance are delightful: sleeping cats and such. You will definitely enjoy this puzzle and you'll have hours of fun with or without the whole family.

Shoddy manufacture

The box containing the puzzle is flimsy and would deter stacking it for fear of damage or collapse. The pieces have been badly cut and it often required unreasonable pressure to fit the pieces. Perhaps I have been spoilt by the quality of Gibsons, Ravensburger and the like but quality is undoubtedly inferior.

Interesting Design

Good quality pieces and each piece is uniquely cut which gives them an interesting and unusual shape. This may throw off more traditional types of puzzle makers. I became used to it after a while. Very challenging but rewarding theme. I came up one piece short and I have looked everywhere around my work area for it. I don't know if this happens very often and I'm still not sure if I am not to blame.
