Oval roaster broken!

I should have known, the middle Oven roaster handle was broken! It was in a big box with only bubble wrap covering the Staub box. To make matters worse, I was using this for Thanksgiving. I put in a return right away, and the estimate isn’t until January 1? I love Staub products, but this was a big disappointment.

I love this set

As a former professional chef I learned early to buy quality whenever I could because it would last longer and serve me better than cheaper items. Cheap is cheap for a reason. When I saw this set as I was moving in to a new home I thought it was a great way to pick up several quality, versatile pieces and save a bit over their individual purchase prices. I liked them so much, however, that I bought additional pieces in the same color and brand but different sizes. Collectively my Staub ceramic bakeware is by far my favorite thing to use in my oven. It's durable, versatile, easy to clean and maintain, dishwasher safe, holds up to frequent use, and is attractive enough to easily go from oven to table. People ask me where I got them and if I spent a fortune for them, and they usually wind up getting their own set from me as a gift for a special occasion.

Quality product

Arrived in perfect condition. Good weight and very attractive baking dishes. I wouldn't hesitate to use them as serving dishes straight from the oven.

Amazons replacement policy

I’m an older senior citizen and I cannot get to the post office easily. Amazon refuses to send a replacement for the broken handles on the midsize casserole unless I return all 3 items. The box and Staub items are very heavy. So I’m stuck paying for 3 and only getting 2 that aren’t broken. I do love Staub products and I will purchase other items intge future through Williams Sonoma.
