Very comfortable!

I love this life jacket! I paddleboard 3-5 days a week. I bought it because my old life jacket from Stohlquist was about 22 years old. This jacket is made for women, light, comfortable and does not get in the way of your range of motion while paddling. Yes,I wear a life jacket every time I paddle.

Thick padding

It says made for women, yes if you have no chest! The padding is so thick that there is no room for boobs! It makes it hard to move

Nicely made but NOT contoured for women

This should not be advertised as a women's pfd. I had an old Stohlquist women's pfd that was sooo comfortable with shaping for my anatomy. Unless your girls are very small or you have never worn a true woman's pfd and have nothing to compare it to, this will be uncomfortable as it is not contoured...it is pretty much a man's pfd in that respect, maybe just a little shorter. I am not particularly busty (36B) and lack of comfort was total deal breaker. Really disappointed, I love the pocket placement and the fact that they unzip on top for vhf radio (so hard to find top zipping pockets!) for sea kayaking. The bright yellow color is OK and better than "mango" (fluorescent yellow, green or orange would be even better) plus the workmanship is very good. But it is just not designed for women. Bad move Stohlquist. This would have been perfect if only it had contoured front panels. Returning.

I really like this PFD with one exception

I really like this PFD with one exception. I have a high back kayak seat and if I paddle while leaning back against the seat back, the material on the PFD 'squeeks'. If I sit straighter up so my back doesn't touch the seat back, it's fine. I'm exploring different seat back 'covers' in hopes that I can find a material that doesn't make noise when the PFD rubs against it. Otherwise i't a great vest.

Very complicated to closed up the zipper and nothing else is holding the vest secure.

The only good thing I can say about this product is the colour. Love the yellow and gray combination. Other than that, not worth the money.
