good little mower

Quieter than expected compared to Ryobi, and cut as good. The long handle is not as useful as I hope for, or maybe I need to get used to it more. All in all, if the thing lasts some years, then it's a good value

Light and functional

I am a big fan of Sun Joe, this trimmer is another ergonomic Sun Joe product. I trimmed my hedge for the first time and it looks nice. It will not cut branches starting from 1/2 inch - I had to do it with a manual trimmer - that is why 4 stars. But I think this is a great value for the money.

Perfect for cemetery headstone

Purchased to trim around flowers of headstone. Handle will be very helpful when I can no longer lower myself. Perfect price, size, weight and design. Run time out of box was able to do one plot (other side has just been seeded) and around foundation with unknown run time left. Will not need the hedger.

I really like it!

My yard is mostly sand and big tree roots….patchy grass. Lawn mowers and weed walkers are such a pain to deal with. I am 92lbs so I needed something light weight and easy to maneuver. This has saved me and the price wasn’t bad either. Needless to say, I am thrilled.

Removing wand is almost impossible.

Will most likely be broken in few weeks. Inserting the wand is relatively straight forward but removing it (for charging cutter) is very difficult. Given the flimsy construction of the holder, I would not be surprised if one of the sliding edges break after only 4 or 5 removal.

Great product

Light weight and easy to use. Cuts even the tall, thick grass. I am 85 years old and have no problem using this product. This is not for huge areas but it does the work.

Replacement blades are not available

used this trimmer for a year and was very happy with it. The blades went dull, so I tried to order new ones. It has been a year and still they are out of stock. I will not buy a new unit simply because the blades are dull. Why does Sun Joe refuse to sell replacement blades?

Light weight works ok.

This seems to work well. Shame you can't get a spare battery. That would be great to able to charge one while using the other. As well it came unpacked and loose in the bix?

Disappointing product

1. Low battery life. Needs to be charged frequently. Long charging time. 2. Telescopic wand is not sturdy, has a short range of extension. The head shifts position after some use -- needs frequent re-adjustments. 3. Width of the trimmer head is too small, making the job rather slow. 4. Trimmer lacks power.

Does the job

I used it for trimming grass. It worked good, however I have only used it for a short period of time, so I don't know how it will perform in the long run.

Sun-joe, plastic gears stripped after a few uses

This unit, only used 3 times and the plastic gears are stripped Update, warranty appears to be covering unit replacement.
