Good product - works exactly as expected

I can't comment on the longevity but right out of the box this was a good purchase. I had bought lights from three different manufacturers to check which one would work best as a replacement for some dated bulbs in a space we renovated and this one was by far the best option. Would highly recommend.

Very bright and uses much less energy

This will pay for itself since it is replacing a halogen bulb that’s been replaced 3 or 4 times in 7 years. This should last much longer.

Good for downlights

Using in my kitchen in 30K. Good light, but not sure of longevity yet.

Great Color light

These bulbs have a wonderful color of light, really close to halogen spots which I'm finally changing. It's truly soft white, no excessively yellow or blue color cast. Very important if you are lighting art.

High quality.

You won't get quality like this from the random brands on Amazon. This is the real deal. It's got a fantastic clear lens, although I can't tell whether it's glass or plastic. The bulb itself is made from glass like the classic PAR halogen lamps were. It's weighty and high quality. The real difference is in the optics and quality of light. It has an atomized aluminum coating on the inside like a PAR lamp should, and a focused optic on top of the LED diodes. Like every other TruWave bulb I've had, it's completely flicker free and makes a great difference in color reproduction. Longevity is unknown but this bulb is quite efficient and doesn't feel hot at all.
