QC might be an issue…

This will be an interesting review… I replaced the exact same brand & model, so how hard cld it have possibly been? Actually, on this commercial faucet it wz a piece of cake! But what I’ve never encountered before “when installing a new faucet” wz tighten up the valve on 1 side because once it (the valve/handle) two days later had become slightly loose. Once the valve/handle hit a curtain pressure the valve/handle continued to vibrate on more which in-turn increased the pressure all on its own. The fix: The valve itself just needed to be tightened down a little bit. Problem solved! On a side-note: I actually replaced two T&S Brass brand faucets two different models but were replaced w/ the exact same model(s). The first faucet wz smooth w/ a slight hiccup & the second wz definitely a little more trying… mainly due to the removal process of the old faucet. Which is not reflected in this review. In the end, it’s all good I suppose. However I do think that T&S Brass shld hv a better QC department. Thankfully this install wz for a friend & not so much for a client. Because, hv’n to go back to adjust that valve wld hv bn a little embarrassing & time is money. So since it wz for a friend… no worries. Anyway, I I deducted one star due to the loose valve issue. In 15 yrs, I’ve just never experienced this issue on a new fixture. Now had I just replaced the valves alone - then yes, that wld hv definitely fallen on me! But that wznt the case…
