One step matcha!

Instead of having to stir it and then put it in a blender because I don’t have a frother or a bamboo whisk, I just put water first then matcha, then shake it with lid on of course then add milk and shake…I thought the price was steep until I used it, totally worth it.

Good concept, but some issues

First, I like that the whisk is built in, so I can just shake the whole thing to reduce clumping. I do put my matcha through a sieve before putting it into the flask, but as is normal, if you don't drink it right away, the matcha can begin to clump up. This doesn't happen in this flask because I shake it every now and then. The materials appear to be of good durable quality. The plastic feels nice and solid, and so does the whisk. My issues are that the lip that holds the whisk, and that you contact when you drink is made of plastic. When using hot matcha, this imparts a pretty strong plastic taste. I've tried multiple times to see if this will pass, but it doesn't. I like hot/warm matcha on some days, and unfortunately, the taste of the plastic is too distracting to make this enjoyable. However, I do use it for cold matcha, and it's fine. For warm matcha, I suppose I'll stick to my Zojirushi (SM-KHE48AG) bottles, which do have plastic lips, but for some reason, do not impart a plastic taste the same as this T2 one. I wish there was a different lid scheme, sort of like the Zojirushi. When you unscrew the T2 lid, after shaking, it drips all over the place. Maybe the lid is too small. I wish the bottle were bigger and could hold more. This is not enough for more than an hour session for me.

Great for daily matcha

I absolutely love this thing. I usually go through the slow process of making matcha with a sifter and a whisk. That way is actually enjoyable, but sometimes I just want matcha right now or maybe want to bring it with me. This thing is fantastic. The matcha blends well and stays just the right temperature for a long time.

Great for quick matcha drinks.

Definitely not a way to mix traditional matcha. However, it’s a GREAT way for on the go. I would recommend.

Wanted to love this

As much I wanted to love this, it simply does not work. It does not blend the tea very well and leave many clumps of matcha. The design is beautiful and easy to clean. Only if it actually works.

1 day in ... and here is my feedback

1) I can not get the liquid to foam. I am now looking at the volume of water to the oz's of matcha ( I just get green runny liquid). This is not something you want to mess around with too much in 1 day or you will be very highly caffeinated or wasting a lot of matcha. 2) I followed the instructions matcha powder then water then add whisk item and shake and pour but then I was like how do I get the whisk out and clean everything It was now stuck and I could not turn it. So my advice let it cool down and then try turning it to get the whisk and top section off the flask. remember it comes in 3 components - the lid, the whisk and the top section of the whisk which screws into the flask and the flask There is a piece of plastic at the top of the whisk (filtering the lumps) and some people don't like that plastic taste in their matcha tea so wash it several times before use.

Love it!

This is an absolute must! You can make a great matcha green tea latte and it keeps it warm for a very long time, I usually drink it 8 hours after preparing it in the morning and it is still warm! Yes, it is pricey but on my opinion it's worth it. Only downsides are the whisk, it tends to fall very easily into the bottle but I also found it easy to remove back out in this case and also the fact that it's a small bottle so you can only make a small amount - between 200ml and 300ml. Hope they make bigger bottles in the future! I absolutely love this bottle!

Waste of money

I used this to make easy matcha tea... that’s a laugh! the whisk is held on to the bottle stopper by a bayonet fitting but it’s loose and comes off inside the flask when you use the flask as instructed. Replaced but that was just the same, suggest you don’t waste your money!

Brilliant! Just a bit small for price!

Love this! Perfect for me, a uni student who loves matcha! It is leak free and i get a lovelly smooth matcha tea latte! The reason for the 4 stars is its quite pricey for the size! But i am still extremely happy with it!

Great for the everyday matcha user!

Use this everyday for my matcha tea and am so happy that I purchased this. Gets the matcha really smooth and easy to carry around. It does stay sometimes a little too hot for too long and then the matcha can sometimes unmix, but I just take the full lid off and let cool

If you're a fan of matcha...

This flask is a -must-. I use it every single day. It is simply the best thing to happen to matcha. I -love- it. It travels well, too! No leakage. The only warning I'd give is about the little whisk inside. Make sure it is connected -firmly- to the bit that twists in at the top. If it's not, it could fall off in to the flask and I don't know how you'd ever get it out. Other than that, enjoy!
