Fun and creative toy for kids

I got this robotic kit for my son. He likes to do coding and play anything with remote controller. This robot is easy to assemble and in pretty good quality. Also, it comes with a detailed instruction, and it is pretty easy to follow. My son has a lot of fun with it. He programmed a little bit and it worked but sometimes was not what he expected. But overall, this is a great toy for kids to develop brain and learn something fun. Like it!

I really like the idea that this is robotics and that coding is involved and having to put this together. However, my child and I took some time to put this together and after many frustrating minutes with it finally had it done the remote did exactly what the code was supposed to be And my kiddo had fun playing with it. It was a great learning experience. I’m great for a beginner in robotics.

a fantastic educational high quality toy for children

Another hit from Thames & Kosmos that my niece loves! With this kit, she was able to build and program her own robotic bulldozer, complete with LED lights, a speaker, motors, and flexible tracks. The kit comes with durable building pieces that are easy to assemble and disassemble, making it a great way for her to learn about engineering and robotics through hands-on experimentation. Additionally, the accompanying instruction manual is well-designed and easy to follow, providing clear and concise guidance throughout the building process. One of the standout features of this kit is obviously the coding component. Using the included software, she can program the Robo Dozr to perform a variety of functions, from moving forward and backward to turning, lifting, and more. This has provided an excellent opportunity for my niece to learn about coding and programming in a fun and engaging way. Based on how my niece has been enjoying this particular toy, I believe this one is a high-quality educational toy that provides a great way for kids to learn about engineering, robotics, and coding. Fun gift but assembly can be daunting for 8 y.o. Great programming gateway

Building with a 8 year old We got this toy for our 8 year old nephew. The toy wasn't immediately used as the assembly was seen as a barrier to using the toy. After I encouraged him some we both worked to construct the toy. I recommend having the adult identify the parts and cutting them out using diagonal cutters then having the child try to assemble the parts based on the diagram. That's what I did but after a while it did wear on both of us. My nephew lost interest several times but I kept pushing him to finish. We eventually got it done and after everything was said and done he was proud he put it together and was showing it off as an accomplishment so on the whole I would call this a win. Play (Regular remote control mode) My nephew really does like playing with this toy. It is his first remote control toy and an appropriate one to start with. The speed isn't too fast to cause accidents and there is plenty of time to prevent something from going wrong if it gets out of control. Programming mode As you can imagine getting interest into programming took a bit of coaxing but once you set up an obstacle course as a gateway he actually had some fun with setting it up and running it several times. I think he will continue to work with this over time and get more enjoyment out of setting up "scenes" with other action figures/toys and running through programs. Final thought: While the assembly was a bit much overall I feel like it did give our nephew a sense of accomplishment that made it worth it. This is a great first low risk (speed) remote control toy that is engaging. I will add that you may need to be prepared to assist in assembly. I feel like the programming feature does a lot to help develop creativity and some higher level thinking skills. I recommend this toy for its ability to develop STEM related skills.

Good toy.

This is definitely not something your child can do on their own no matter what age. So whenever you plan to open it make sure to clear your schedule so you can be there for them. This is a fun and educational toy. There's a lot to it. It takes a while to build and I'll be honest that part wasn't easy. So it kinda lowers their interest very quickly. It takes a lot of batteries as well so that makes me rethink how much use we can get out of this before having to replace them.

Have fun while learning.

This Dozr will not leave your child dozing off to sleep. This Robot Dozr is everything it says it is and more. My son has always loved building this. He spends endless amounts of time putting things together and taking them apart over and over again And the fact that he could actually use the dozr and control it once it was put together was a game changer and opened up an entire new wave of creativity for him. He has spent hours building different what he calls missions for the dozr with different courses to travel, different terrain to navigate and different obstacles to over come. Then he loves to use to remote to program the dozr to complete these different courses he set up. And when and if the dozr does not complete the course he takes the time to go through everything over again and trouble shoot what could have gone wrong and figure out different solutions and come up with a strategies to have the dozr be able to complete its missions... So i have to say this item is a great value for both entertainment and education.
