Nice table lamp
Okay, I read reviews faithfully and find I depend on them a great deal when I go to purchase something online now. I received this item promptly and packaged well. As far as the people who had a problem with the Styrofoam, really? The lamp is encased between to large pieces of foam. Cut the two pieces of tape carefully, I used a sharp kitchen knife, and then separate carefully. You will not have any problems. If you tear into it like a rabid hyena you could, potentially, have a nasty Styrofoam event on your hands. The lamp shade was not all oily or greasy. It was however pretty and nice. Assembly time: perhaps 5-7 minutes. I really like my lamp, it’s on right now, I just looked at it, still like it. Okay the big question, I know you have been waiting for it....glass or plastic glass or plastic glass or plastic. I don’t really know. Seems like glass. I didn’t want to drop it. I would like to answered a lager question however. If you have aligned all of your personal happiness with the pinnacle focused on this lamp like a laser beam do me a favor and don’t buy this lamp. I mean jeepers it’s a lamp. I mean seriously a tiffany “style” lamp for 70 some odd bucks, did you really expect it to be hand made by some artist with a loft in New York. If you want a pretty lamp that you can enjoy every time you walk by it, then please place your purchase now. Thank you.

It was extremely easy to put together as as other reviewers have mentioned ...
After looking around the Internet for a lamp for the side of my bed I looked on Amazon and found this gorgeous lamp. I found the reviews very helpful and decide to go ahead and purchase it. I will say it took about a month for it to be delivered but I don't think that has anything to do with the company itself but the fact that I ordered it a few weeks before Christmas. It was extremely easy to put together as as other reviewers have mentioned and it's exactly what I wanted. It is very sturdy and the colors of the lamp are beautiful. I found that my lamp was more a yellowish color then green as some previous reviewers mentioned. Lastly The picture is somewhat deceiving as it seemed to have been taken above the lamp. The lamp is not as tall as it seemed to me. With that said I love the lamp overall and would definitely recommend buying it. I am now looking into the floor lamp made by the same company with the two lightbulbs. If I purchase that one I will definitely let you know how I like it.

Super buy for the buck
Super buy for the buck. Beautiful design both shade, finial and base. Base is very heavy and stable on my bedside table. The shade panels do feel like glass however, this is not true leaded. At this price, I wouldn't expect it to be. The liquid leading used is just fine. There were one or two little spots where one length of 'leading' over lapped and sort of left a tiny tail on the glass. Just used a razor knife to cut off the tiny tag of left over. Cord is substantial with an inline on/off toggle. Overall, this Lamp is perfect! It is sooo well packed for shipping. When you open the box you will see a complete surround of styrofoam. I used a steaknife to carefully slice thru the packing take that goes around the styrofoam and then slide the lamp out. Wish I had more lamp needs so I could buy another of their beautiful products.

Stunning!
I absolutely LOVE this lamp. I am SO glad I ordered it. The photo does not do it justice. This lamp is just stunningly beautiful. I did not realize there is some green glass in the bottom row of glass on the shade, which happens to suit my color scheme to a T, but thought I'd mention it in case someone wants white only. Again, the lamp is VERY beautiful. I put it on the end of my dresser, next to my jewelry armoire to light up my jewelry choices :) and it's absolutely perfect in every way. The packaging is, as an earlier review mentioned, that kind of Styrofoam that crumbles into tiny pieces and makes a mess, but I was cognizant of it and was sure to open it on the kitchen floor so it was easy to clean up. I appreciated that the packaging kept the lamp very well protected and it arrived in stellar condition. The glass was completely clean, and assembly was very simple. I think it would be good if a better photo was used on the page. As said, the one they have does not do it justice. Love it.

Beautiful but plastic
I got two of those lamps for my bedroom. They are beautiful. They match my bedroom perfectly well. They are giving fine bright light. It is not glass what they used to create this Tiffany style. It is plastic.

Buying online is great, however, you have to accept some disappointments
Bought two of these lamps and they are great and I decided to keep them as they are nice! However, the lamp base was not the shape depicted in the picture shown online. Also the glass pattern is what is depicted the the color scheme along the bottom of the glass are also not similar in color as the picture depicts. As I say the lamps are nice and have made a nice addition for bedside lamps and I kept them. This seller was affiliated to Amazon and contacted me via email offering a refund on the shipping. Okay, but taking into consideration what good I say above about the lamps I actually received, honestly noting the differences from what the online picture depicts, it would have been better to be offered an exchange for lamps with the same base shape and color scheme along the bottom of the shade. The rating I gave is still 4 of 5 stars because the lamps are good enough to keep despite differences.

My lamps were perfect
My lamps arrived well packaged but not in any kind of oily substance. It was a little hard to remove them from the packaging but I was glad they were well protected. They are beautiful and I have received a lot of compliments on them. I have two of them on the dark end tables on either side of my leather couch. The base is very very heavy and that's great because the shade is also very heavy and solid. It lets off great light and looks sparkly when turned on at night. The only thing I wish is that they were a little taller. They are not quite tall enough for my large couch. However, that is my fault because the measurements were given on the website. This is a great product. I have had mine for over a year now and they still work beautifully. Hard for the cats to knock them over as well... bonus!! (my cats like to sit on those end tables and look out the window!!)
