Pad Holder Works Great
I got this Tolco pad holder today and it's terrific for cleaning the tile shower. It didn't fit on a threaded broom handle but attached snugly to the Carrand 93062 car wash brush pole I had in the garage. It comes with one light duty and one heavy duty scrub pads, but I also ordered a 5-pack of those blue medium duty 10 x 4.5in scouring pads. I sprayed the shower with Kaboom and a couple of minutes later the tiles were sparkling clean. I'm a senior and this pad holder has really made my life easier. No more getting down on your knees and scrubbing. I never had to bend over one time and the entire walk-in shower is free of soap scum! Order this for your elderly parents.

Great tools for cleaning job
It comes with two pads, one soft and one hard foam. I use the soft one to clean my bathroom without scratch and hard one for vct tile. Great tools

Does Not Work With All Threaded Handles
The item description reads as follows: "The universal locking collar accepts 15/16' diameter tapered or threaded handles." Beware - This is not a truly universal locking collar. I purchased a standard broom handle with an Acme thread at the same time I purchased this item, and it does not work with this pad holder. There are NO THREADS on this pad holder, and it relies exclusively on a friction ring that grips the handle. If the threaded end of the pole is too large due to the manufacturing method used, it will not slide into the friction mechanism. Unfortunately, this detail in rather ambiguous in the product description. The description should read something like: "The universal locking collar accepts a 15/16' diameter tapered handle, or a threaded handle that does not exceed 15/16" in diameter.

Lasts for years
I worked 11 years for Molly Maid; a top Canadian cleaning company, prized for its excellence in service and efficiency until my employer sold the franchise to a new owner. At that time, I was referred to by her as "Molly Maid". I tell you this so that you can have an idea of the level of professionalism I bring to this review. In 11 years, I only had this mop head replaced ONCE. It is flexible and resilient. I particularly liked using it with a metal pole because I like the width and length of them over wooden broom handles. It can be used with any number of mop clothes even if they extend beyond the borders of the head. I found that if they extended then I wouldn't scratch baseboards or walls. I appreciate the fact that they are not 'threaded' on the inside so that I can accommodate any kind of handle I wish to insert. I occasionally had to bend the end of the metal rod to get it to fit in, but it still worked for years without issue. I, on average, cleaned the floors of 4 entire houses a day. That's a lot of wear and hope that attests to it's durability.
