17" laptop fits

I was looking for a carry-on that could hold a 17" laptop (LG Gram) and this said it could. It fits snuggly in the laptop spot and with nothing else in the suitcase, it didn't tip over and maneuvered very well. I haven't taken it on the trip yet, but I'm glad I have an easy to access, padded spot for my large laptop.

Great Piece of Luggage

Very nice luggage. It is well constructed and like the fact the wheels are attached to a molded hard plastic which is attached to the bottom of the suitcase. There seems to be reinforcement at all potential wear locations on the nylon fabric edges. I like the built in zipper locks for added protection. It was the folding suit attachment that sold me on this suitcase. Best of all, Travelpro website offers replacement parts if items get damaged. I did not rate the durability since I have not stress tested it yet with the airlines.

Best Carryon Suitcase I've Purchased

This is the best carryon, hands down. I travel with a service pet and maneuverability of this suitcase makes my travel day so much easier. I was able to use the expanded front and still take it on a United Airlines flight in the overhead compartment. I've done extensive research and this is the largest suitcase I could find as an approved carryon. 100% recommend.

5 STARS! The last suitcase I'll ever need to buy!

This is the best piece of luggage I've ever owned. I managed to make a similarly-sized carry on of lower quality purchased from Target last for a little over 12 years, so I am confident I will never need to replace my new Travelpro Crew Versapack. It's absolutely huge inside too! As I searched for replacements for my 12-year-old carry-on, I found most of them to be significantly smaller on the inside. I even tried the Solgaard carry-on closet suitcase, but it didn't hold nearly as much as my old carry-on. The Travelpro Crew Versapack, however, offers even more space. I was actually worried it might be too big for overhead compartments, but I had absolutely no problems on a recent flight. I ended up overpacking for that trip just because of all the extra room I had in my Versapack Crew suitcase!

Sturdy, but some odd design choices

Bought this to replace my old samsonite 21.5 air canada carry on bag. This was one of the only soft side suitcases with Omni wheels that fit air Canada’s carry on size, and it looked high quality. After 3 other purchases that didn’t meet size requirements, I tried travelpro. PROS -listed specs are exact -seems to roll well -high quality materials CONS -useless front pockets. One is 8 cm deep, not deep enough to hold a walker, barely a phone. Other front large pocket goes all the way to the bottom but is so thin you can’t pack much besides papers there. -Included zip in insert cuts off 2/3 of available packing space in top, be sure to buy one of the additional zip ins if you want packing space in the inside top. -no useful inside seperation/storage -Vertical clasps doesn’t cover everything or secure most items in. Two horizontal straps to secure items (or one strap that has flaps to hold everything in), would have been much more useful. I will update the review after I see how well the luggage holds up on a trip, but as far as packing goes, this bag works but I don’t know if it’s worth the amount it is.

The most used luggage by air crew... and for good reasons

As I work for an airline, this was my go to for luggage. The quality of their products is second to none. Very sturdy, takes the smaller bag mounted on top with ease and does not fall over due to weight. Wheels are awesome! They line up straight with the help of the little magnets. Storage is plentiful and well thought out. The only thing I could really complain about is that one the very first outing with me new set, the handle for one of the main compartment zippers fell off. It wasn't due to abuse or worn out over time, it was the actual first use! I'll be calling TravelPro in the next few days and I'm sure it will be taken care of, but... The quality is usually at such a high level, that this was a little disappointing.

Calidad, durabilidad y estilo

Calidad superior a otras marcas. Rueda silenciosa y muy estable. El tamaño es ligeramente mas chico que otras carry-on pero es garantia que pasan las regulaciones de las aerolineas para llevarla en la cabina. Es ideal para llevar equipaje de hasta 3 dias de viaje. El concepto de los accesorios para empacar diferentes formatos esta bien y ayuda a organizar mejor tus cosas, pero solo trae un accesorio, asi que si te gusta algun otro lo tienes que comprar aparte. El unico detalle de esta maleta es que la tapao cubierta principal es mas pequeña que el interior de la maleta en sí, asi que eso no hace tan fácil acomodar tu equipaje.

True to stated size

Often, some brands don't count the outside handle when stating size. The listed dimensions on this are accurate. Have not yet used the bag on a trip, so that's the reason for the 4 star rating. I loaded the front pocket with computer, iPad, etc ., with bag empty. It will tip over if knocked, but remained upright and wheels easily. I suspect it will be fine once its fully packed. Seems reasonably generous for a weekend trip..

A good luggage

Well, this was a good purchase since most luggage prices have gone up. It looks and feels well built. It's not a light weight but maneuvers well and durable. I took it on a harsh journey having to cross a few countries by air and land, it withstood the test of travel, has minor dents from all the travel but nothing major. I gave it 4 stars because it's not a light weight. Otherwise, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Pequeña y elegante.

Excelente calidad, las llantas super silenciosas y fluidas. Tiene todo lo que necesitas para un viaje de un par de días. Siempre llevo está maleta si viajo 4-5 dias. Si viajas más días, o piensas llevar un cambio de zapatos adicional ya no tendrás espacio suficiente. El tamaño no ha sido un problema para subirla al avión en ninguna aerolínea.
