Zipper separated from suitcase on my first trip

LOVE how maneuverable this suitcase is. Bought the smaller 19" carry on which is wider than the 21" and fits well under the seat in front or overhead. Holds a LOT! The 25" was good but on my first trip using it, the zipper pulled away from the actual suitcase after the 1st of 8 flights. The zipper itself was not broken but the stitching came out. I had to buy a strap in Thailand to make sure it didn't open on the rest of my trip. I registered the suitcase for the warranty BEFORE I left and contacted the mfg. on the trip. By the time I heard back, 8 days later, I was home. In essence they told me since I didn't buy it directly from them, they would not repair, replace or authorize a return and I "should try" to see if Amazon would take it back. My response to them was, "so the warranty is useless?" They never responded. Amazon graciously took it back and I re-ordered. I hope it was a one off problem because I really like both bags, but BEWARE of the MFG WARRANTY, you can't count on that and if I had this issue after a year of having the bag instead of 2 weeks, I would've been out of luck.

It has the TSA Locks and is not too big for European flights!

Bought this to replace one bought in 2018 that is still fine but it only has 2 wheels, not 4. Since I will also be taking a train between 2 major cities with my larger suitcases, this seemed like it would give us the most ease! I had thought about buying a popular hard sided bag which has prices of 300 and up but since Travel Pro never let us down before, we thought we'd give it a try. It looks amazing! We got black. I had not noticed it has the TSA lock feature which is handy for times when you can't check in yet at the hotel and need to leave your carryon items with the concierge.

Great sturdy little suitcase

I bought this to fit the Lufthansa requirements for carry-ons. It is fairly small, but if you pack well it can fit a lot. BE CAREFUL WITH THE EXPANSION ZIPPER. I was careless when I unzipped the expansion and it got stuck on the material and would not open fully. Of course because I’m a procrastinator and packed the night before my flight, I had to just leave it snagged and half open and head to the airport. I was able to fully unzip it once in Italy, but I never could get it zipped up again. But in the poor zipper’s defense I did brutally attack it. I was on a mission. LOL Not a dealbreaker for me. I absolutely LOVED how easy this case was to roll. My first experience with four wheels and I am hooked! The purple color was cute and made it easy to find my luggage at the luggage return wheel. I was so concerned with following the Lufthansa measurements rule but found so many people brought on MUCH BIGGER carry-ons. The only time it was weighed was returning from Germany to the states, but I checked it on the return anyway because I did have a heavier bag on the way home. I mean, who doesn’t buy souvenirs on a once-in-a-lifetime trip? :-)

Perfect size check-in bag for international travel

I fretted for days between a 25-inch Travelpro Elite, a Travelon crew spinner, and this one. Ultimately the inner pocket layout and the weight made the decision for me. I love this color (teal-ish blue)- easy to spot at luggage claim! It held more than what I needed for a week-long trip. I like the one big pocket on the inner flap as I like to put my nicer shirts, pants there. Can't do that with some of the same-size luggage choices. The wheels and the telescoping handle worked really well. The only drawback for me is that it does not have TSA locks on it, but I took the chance - and unfortunately something was taken out of my bag after I checked it at CDG airport and before I picked it up from Delta in Atlanta. So, I will use independent TSA-approved locks from now on. That's the only negative I have for this luggage. I would have paid more for an on-suitcase lock.

Great quality but significantly smaller than my existing carry-on

I have had my carry-on suitcase for years, and I thought I would upgrade to one that had 4 roller wheels instead of my 2. I really like the look of this bag - you can see from the comparison photo that it is similar in style to my older suitcase (older one on right). Also it definitely feels lighter, which is a plus, and the wheels seem super-smooth and easy to maneuver. Unfortunately, when I opened the new suitcase, I was disappointed that there seemed to be significantly less packing room. Carry-ons vary from 20" to 22". My old one was a full 22", and this one was billed as a 21", but if you look at the photos with measurements that I took, you'll see that the exterior is more like 20 3/4" (yes, a 1/4" makes a significant difference!) and the interior length is barely over 19". The lining is different than what was pictured in the description (plaid), and I also didn't like the placement of the zipper, which is somewhat internal rather than on the edge, another factor that made the suitcase feel smaller. Again, this case seemed to be excellent quality, and it could certainly be a good choice for someone buying a first-time carry-on. But as someone used to a bigger bag that can really be stuffed, this suitcase was not for me, and so I decided to return it.

The best suitcase ever!

This suitcase held more than I had anticipated by at least half. The wheels were excellent and I never had to tug or pull the case along. It just flowed smoothly through airports and sidewalks. Taking it on a cruise through Europe, where space is very limited, proved a terrific purchase. Five stars is just adequate for the serviceability of this suitcase.

Great bag!

This is a very nicely made bag. I also have the matching weekend bag that fits over the handle. I recently took both on a trip to London. Very satisfied with both bags. Fits more than you think. The color blue is very pretty and exactly as shown. Rolls super smoothly. Easy to maneuver. Hoping to have this for a very long time. Highly recommend

Very well-made suitcase

Oh, this is a very sturdy and well constructed suitcase. It is streamlined and has all the compartments you could want. It is also lightweight and attractive. It held up through a trip to Europe with multiple connecting flights. It even got lost by the airlines for three days and who knows what they do to suitcases when they are lost! It came back very dirty, but otherwise undamaged. It is very large, and I wish I had bought one size down.

Excellent Quality

Our last cases died after many year's of use and I wanted to spend some money on a good quality suitcase that didn't break the bank. After much research I settled on Travelpro and I haven't been disappointed. These cases are very good quality and as they are a touch bigger than our previous 55cm bags they seem to hold enormous quantities of stuff. We travelled to Australia and these cases were a pleasure to use. The wheels were smooth and the cases are well balanced even when fully loaded. We've only done this one trip with them but it was a long one and they've come back without damage other than the usual scuffs you would expect from luggage being moved around.

Small and unbalanced!

I bought this and was so excited to have finally purchased a new suitcase to carry-on. I had never spent a lot of money on a carry-on bag, but I had some Amazon gift cards and thought I would spoil myself. I thought the colour was very pretty and I was excited to hear to hear that the wheels are awesome and the handle is sturdy. I got it about three weeks ago and took it on its first trip last week. I felt like I was watching a small child who was learning to walk Because Every time I let go of the handle the suitcase would fall over and end up on the floor with the handle a tripping hazard. I bought the case that attaches to this suitcase as well and that bag makes it even more tippy. I can’t complain about that day because it seems to be a good bag, but it definitely adds to the tippyness of this bag I was hoping for something functional and I am so disappointed. I will have to look for another suitcase. I’m not even sure what to do with this one because I don’t want to sell it to somebody else and have them frustrated as well. On the positive side, it is a nice color, light weight, the wheels seem to work well. On the negative side, it is unbalanced, quite a bit smaller than I expected, and it tips when you let go of the handle if you have it packed. I really wanted to love this bag and this is probably the first time I’ve written a negative review about some thing, but I spent more time bending over to pick the suitcase up off the floor then I did walking with it.

Great bag but note that you may not be able to take on board and will have to check it. Normal packing not overstuffed, expanded or even using outside pouch.

Best Luggage Purchase ever!!

I do not write reviews much unless Awesome Product/Service or Terrible Product/Service. Let's start with the Luggage itself. The bags were amazingly light weight and well built. That was my initial impression. I purchased 3 of the 29' luggage. If you register the bags soon after you get them, I believe within 30 days, you get a 1 year full coverage warranty if the Airline or Airport luggage handlers damage your bag. This is in addition to the lifetime warranty on manufacturing defects. I registered the luggage within a day or two of receiving them from Amazon by following the included instructions inside the luggage. They are expensive bags and I was worried they would be damaged by the Airline during handling. And boy am I glad I did that! Went on my trip within a few days after that. Arrived at my destination with no issues. The Bags arrived fully intact. When I arrived back home from my trip, I noticed a rip in one of the bags. I contacted TravelPro Customer Support which is handled by the "Holiday Group". After sending some pictures of the damage and verifying my registration, "Holiday Group" sent me a replacement brand new bag which arrived within a few days, although I was advised it could take up to 4 weeks!! To recap, AMAZING LUGGAGE, AWESOME Customer Service. Shout out to "Milton" at customer service who helped me throughout the warranty claim. TravelPro is my new go to Luggage Brand.

Nice luggage. Too wide across the bottom to fit some airlines pre-requisites for carry on

I just bought this luggage recently and am using it for short term times away from home. No flying anywhere in last 2 years. However I will be flying next month on a United Airlines flight. But their requirements are for the bottom dimension to be 14" and this piece is 15.75". The other dimensions are within the requirements, but unfortunately I won't be able to use this luggage as a carry on.
