Not effective for POTS, but the durability of these stockings is impressive

I have had POTS for 13 years. Medication and other lifestyle changes have been of minimal use, so I decided to finally buy a pair of compression stockings for $30+. I cannot say that I am impressed. Pros: 1. Durability: after months of daily use (6-8 hours/day), these stockings did not develop tears or holes. This is the most impressive quality. 2. Sizing: At 5'8", the Tall size went up to my waist (which starts just below my ribcage). Cons: 1. I did not notice significant improvement in my symptoms while wearing these tights. 2. Your mileage will vary, but the tights caused skin tears/blisters along the seamlines and on the back of my knees. I decided to take a break from the tights due to these injuries, and that is when I noticed that the tights were not effective enough to justify continued use. Neutral notes: 1. Learning how to put these stockings on is a process, and it still took me around 3-5 minutes after several months of daily use. 2. If you're wearing trousers over these stockings, you may want to consider wearing a belt. Your pants may fall off of you, especially if you're wearing gym shorts. Take it from me. 3. These stockings may make your lower body go slightly numb. As a result, you may not be able to tell whether your wallet and phone are in your back pocket.

I can tell this is great quality, but I am so sad cause I bought the wrong size while not knowing I couldn't return it. Maybe I should compress my arms with them. Sad day. Wasted money

GREAT IF YOU HAVE POTS! (or other blood flow issues)

ok so the only negative is the sizing is wack, I recommend buying a few pairs, trying them all on, and returning the ones that don’t fit. But amazon returns are super easy. Which may seem annoying but it’s worth it. I’m 5’ 5” 130lbs and the 1x (fits like an xs) was super tight (good for a long day on my feet) and S fit a little more loose but still tight (so it was good for a day where i’m not on my feet as much but still need compression) totally worth the money. Best ones i’ve found online, totally worth the trial and error with the sizing. I’ve tried like 15 other pairs on amazon and they’re all not tight enough or super low quality.

My FAVE!!!!!

I have been diagnosed with POTS, which is a syndrome that causes blood to pool in your legs and waist and away from your brain thus causing a variety of unpleasant symptoms. My doc advised..recommended...ok, basically demanded that I wear them. Thus begins the search. I have tried three other brands before this and these are by far, the absolute best! They are good quality and actually are tall enough not to leave "crotch space" (you guys know what I mean). I am so happy I found these. They improve my quality of life drastically when I wear them. For all my long-legged friends, I highly recommend!!

Great to help swelling, but the fit is not good. You are always messing with them to fit rigjt.

I bought these after a knee surgery. Mainly to keep the swelling down. It worked well for that. The fit is not good. Give yourself at least 5 to 10 minutes to put these on. If you are not very flexible. You will need help. Is you have any place we're the nylons make lines or creases. You will be feeling like you have a tourniquet on. Not a pleasant feeling. It needs to be smooth with NO wrinkles. I'm 5'9. I got the tallest pair. It does help with swelling. Bit it's a real bugger getting them on and off.

They are awesome, but I just wish the waist area was ...

They are awesome, but I just wish the waist area was compression as well. There's an indentation at the top of the thigh, where the compression stops. Makes my bottom look really strange. The compression part is amazing. I have swelling issues in my legs and these help alot.

These are likely ok if you’re tall! Otherwise, look for another brand!

UPDATE - their customer service is amazing - I called and they refunded me. I’m a flight attendant and have been wearing compression hose for years - they are true 20-30s that are nice and thick - they look like they’ll hold up to washing and regular use. However - these are made for someone tall! I’m 5”3 with size 7.5-8 shoe, as you can see from the pictures the foot size on the stockings is wayyy off. If you pull the toe on properly the heel is half way up your calf, if you put the heel in place the toes are loose - lose lose if you’re trying to wear heels and a dress like I do for work. The other issue is the crotch to waist measurement, it is 12”. I like a high rise pantyhose, but this is excessive, and because there is a pretty thick seam running down the front and back - if they aren’t flush with the skin, you have lumps and bumps down the front of your dress/shirt. I’m hopeful I can return them as I’ve worn them once - but they are way off on size!
