Good quality but sizing is very different

I like them and they are well made. I’m a 34/32 in almost all pant but had to go with the 36 waist and I’m getting the 32 length hemmed. Snugger in the crotch than issued OCPs also. I will add the combat top is extremely good.

Good Pants

These are good pants...good not great. They are a good value when they are on sale and they are pretty solid. They do run a bit small and slim so take that into consideration when ordering. These are a good alternative for training if you want to save a little wear and tear on your more expensive Crye pants.

Favorite all around outdoor pants

These pants are well made and when they drop below MSRP, they are a great deal. I've used 1 pair very hard and they show zero wear. Been through a lot of thick brush and briars... They haven't ripped anywhere yet, but you will get stuck through the pants with the briars if you're not careful. But these pants aren't made to protect you from briars. I will say they fit a little slim around the waist, and probably a little loose around the legs. I have larger legs, so the legs fit me perfect, and the waist is a little snug but they fit my normal size for pants. I will keep abusing these pants and will update my review if my thoughts on these change.

Rough material but not bad at all

Good fit, but distinctive features seem pointless

Good fit, it is more or less Phantom Ops pants with thigh pockets, ankle pockets and knee pad inserts. Size 30 was snug enough not to fall down without belt; I normally order in size 28. However, there are a number of flaws with these pants- the thigh pockets are your average velcro mini pockets. They are big enough for wallets and phones, but nothing more. Being tactical pants I am not sure what they are meant for, they seem almost too shallow for pistol mags. There are velcro cinches behind your shins to tighten the pants for when you have knee inserts installed, the problem is that when you tighten these, you cannot really bend down on your needs. It sort of defeats the point of having these. You can try to force it, but the panels are made of the same rough ripstop material so it gives zero stretch. They couldn't position these lower so that it would closer the knee insert opening? They are otherwise good pants, it's just a bit disappointing that the few things that make the Recon pants stand out to the rest of Vertx pants don't really do anything.

Excellent quality

These pants are very well-made. Many pockets and very durable material. Way over priced in my opinion but it is a very good product.

Smaller than expected

Returned the pants. The pants were fine everywhere but the groin area, where they were cut like they were pants for a woman instead.

Too small at the waist

Nice green colour. We got the 40 waist 34L the size is too small, like another person said here, 2 sizes too small at the waist but leg wise its baggy enough. The length is too long but Thats our fault, we needed a 32. Im disappointed and would suggest people measuring themselves properly with this in mind.
