Works well

I'm happy. I bought this one because it has a dial marker. It can be easily returned to a previous degree setting without having to guess. The bolt that changes the pitch is a little stiff. I guess that's by design. It would be terrible if it slipped mid grind. It stays where i set it. I just leave a wrench for it beside my grinder.

Works great

This works great but I had to make a couple of attachments to hold the edge of the knife to how it more secure. Other than that reason it works great and can easily adjust the angle to suit your needs and design. Once adjusted you can lock into place so you can turn the blade around and get the same exact angle on the opposite side. Another thing I'm going to change on this is the turn buckle on this I will be making a wheel to slide over so that I can turn it by hand instead of having to use a wrench. I will also be adding a digital angle gauge to the back of the platten so I can see the exact angle I'm using. If i change all of this it will be awesome. I would imagine if these were added to this it would cost considerably more.

Stable and well made

I've used this for 2 days work now and feel like it is a solid tool. The construction is clean and precise, all screws and fittings are very well done, countersunk, and tight. The turnbuckle style adjuster is made to very tight tolerances, with no discernable lash or slop, and the protractor scale on the slide gives a pretty precise idea what your grind angle is set for. The nylon base plate cover allows the jig to slide freely on my tool rest and flipping the blank from left to right was a breeze. It's also seemingly all aluminium and stainless so periodic dunking in a quench pail shouldn't damage it. Only one issue I've notices, the upper bolt that holds the adjuster on was a bit long, and got in the way of the hold-down slider. A quick trim off of maybe 1/8" with an angle grinder and it's perfect. Overall, for the price point, I would have a hard time suggesting an improvement, it feels built to last and I'm sure I'll get a lot of mileage from it. (This is NOT a sponsored or paid review)

Solid, well built

After a LOT of research I settled on purchasing this bevel jig for knife making. I'm glad I did, this is one solid piece of tooling, fit and finish is very nice, light weight, sturdy. Many mounting options.

Decent

Works well, feels solid but should be $20 cheaper. Many of the holes cannot not be used due to the part that adjusts the angle. Overall decent quality.

Great product

This product is professional made. It was a joy to place the knife blank in the jig and see the resulting bevel grind. Just feels safer than holding the knife in your bare-hand.
