Andrea Schewe Pattern

This is the second pattern which I have purchased. I made three dresses from the first. This latest purchase was to replace the first (Small) pattern. Easy to read and execute pattern & instructions.

Arrived on Time!

Very happy with this pattern! It arrived just in time and in great condition. Directions are rather easy to follow. Be sure to check the size measurements since I normally am a size 10 or 12, but with these measurements I was a size 14. I'm using this pattern for my Ruby Rose (RWBY) costume.

What I wanted

Not the sexy Puritan costume that is worn today. This is more me and I look forward to sewing it and wearing it Thanksgiving-and I do joke that I came over on the Mayflower-well, the potato boat just behind it. I read that they didn't all wear black, so I will look at different colors they used and avoid black. They used vegetable dyes of different colors.

This pattern was exactly what I needed to participate in a local Pioneer & Ranching Days event at a local museum where I demonstrated rigid heddle weaving. Lots of people were interested in how it worked; and one patron commented, "It's really funny to see you sitting there looking at your iPhone." LOL I would buy this again or recommend to a friend.

Perfect for my costume. However I believe it is sized for a corset, because the waist measurements were much different than they usually are for my size in Simplicity patterns.
