installed fairly easily, good design, moderately effective
I installed it fairly easily, but given it's under a sink it's never easy! It has a simple good design but I am not sure it is worth almost $100!! Finally it is moderately effective - before I put it in it took slightly over 1 minute to get hot water to my kitchen. After installing this device it took right at 45 seconds so not a great savings. I might have to update this review when after we get into winter, tho.

Warning on using their 3/8" compression adaptor.
First, for this much money the valve should be brass,, not plastic. It should also be rebuildable. That said when I went to install the 3/8" compression adaptors on the valve it went on a turn and a half then went cockeyed. Looking closely at the threads I found them defective. Since these are chrome plated over brass and the chrome was fine on the threads it means they were machine incorrectly before being plated. Luckily I still had my old ones which went on fine. I suggest since your under the sink anyway if you haven't replaced the lines from the faucet to the shut off valves in a long time replace them with a 1/2"npt X 1/2"npt line and you wont need the adaptors, not to mention another place that could leak.

Just what I need
This is what I need in my rental property since the back unit is far from the hot water tank. I install the pump on the hot water tank and install two of these in the back unit and it really helps speed up the hot water flow. Prior to install the pump and this kit, it took about 2-3 minutes the hot water started to deliver but after installing the pump and this kit, it cuts half time, its about 1 minute for the hot water to reach the back unit. I recommend this unit if you install Watt Hot Water Recirculating pump.

No more waiting for hot water!
You need to have a hot water recirculating pump. The pump comes with one sensor valve so I put that in the kitchen. I purchased this one for the Master Bathroom. Once it’s set to “on” you get warm water in 2-10 seconds where it used to seem like forever! You can set the pump to predetermined times for use! You don’t wanna leave the pump on all the time! Super easy install!

Hot water diverter kit
The valve was installed unfortunately the 12” stainless steel flex water lines that came with the kit were too short and stiff for my installation. Installation. I had to go buy 24” flex lines to install the valve to prevent undue stresses on my shutoff valves under the sink. Once I got the new lines, the installation was very easy.

Why so expensive??
I bought this to add a second hot water path in my home. I have put off buying this extra one for years because of the price. It seems ridiculously high. So I finally gave up and got it. It works great and had all the parts I needed. I just wished it was a lot cheaper. So I knocked off one start due to the high price.

connect to cold water inlet
misinformation out there. Connect to cold water inlet. Pump has a maximum temperature rating of 140 F . Connecting to the cold water inlet, mounted remotely works just fine. Pay attention to the vertical mounting. My gas water heater easily exceeds 140"F. I also have a tempering valve for the whole house, third photo, blue end cap. My set up is unique in that the water heater is set to maximum temperature and my dishwasher is a separate water line at maximum temperature, directly off the water heater.

Instant warm water without pump
You don’t need circulation pump, the convection alone will keep the hot water pipe warm. After installing the valve, I have instant warm water and then hot water shortly after. No more waste of water while waiting for hot water.

Comes as a complete package so that you can assemble straight away & can begin using it.
I have 2 sets in use & it is a tremendous asset in being able to begin shaving with hot water in a couple of minutes. Otherwise have to wait for hot water to get there in 5+ minutes plus wasting a lot of gallons of cold water to get to the hot there. Greatest invention!!

No more cold water when you first turn on.
Added a second sensor to the second washroom. Works as expected, only problem is the adapters tend to be of inferior quality. One of the adapters would not thread on properly. Had the same problem with the original kit
