Item recieved not as pictured Nor will it fit my unit

I ordered item pictured in ad by the part number. What I received looks nothing like what I ordered and need yet it has the correct item number on packaging. Considering it has a hard outer case and a button battery included there is no way this item works on my unit. I saw the hard casing thru the clear plastic but didnt notice the button battery. I just assumed by size and the fact that this is a Whirlpool item that it changed but would fit. Wrong. So very wrong. I paid a plumber to come install this as I am disabled and cant get to the water filter. Now I am out the plumers fee of 80.00$ to show up and I dont have my filter changed. Calling the 800 number of Whirlpool gets menus to order filters without ever finding a "Human" on that directory. Customer service is not what it used to be. I would like to have the correct filter and to have my plumber service call fee refunded. Finding a human who can address this...

Worked great to remove chlorine.

Used on my camper to remove chlorine from the water at the Campground. Worked great. That is what carbon block filters are for.

Water filters

The big box hardware store no longer stocked these filters. Offered a “new” filtering system for me to purchase and install. No thanks. Found these on Amazon and they are the original brand and size. That works! Will order again in 3 months.

Great Filters

These are great filters for use in the home, and a good value as well. We use them for our under the sink filter system in addition to the filters in the frig. Our water has no bad taste or odor to it at all.

Same cost as box stores without the hassle

What can I say ? For a sediment filter, it does what it is supposed to. It cost under $1 more on Amazon, with free shipping than box stores, but I don't have to waste time in my life to deal with the drive and hassle of going to the big box stores. Fits my Culligan water filter in basement perfect. Great service, great price

Quality

It working as it should, only been running for a month. Will have to wait for longterm report. The price has gone up that why the three stars. Product is manufactured in India, very hard to find American made units.
