One of my new favorite pieces of kitchen equipment

Takes me right back to the restaurant. Does the job. Get some great color on your meat. Nothing like delivering a sizzling plate to the table. Everyone loves it when I cook on these. Worth having.

Just like the professionals.

This sizzle pan was great. I use them for single meals mostly. They are big enough to hold anything from fish to biscuits and everything in between. They do not stay shiny but that is to be expected. I use these at work and wanted some for personal use. These only get better over time.

Not what I thought.

I searched for restaurant broiler pan and found this. One review said it was great under the broiler but when I got it it was flaked and appears to be coated in something so I have not used it under the broiler. I do use it for prepping and resting meat and I like it for that. It's always streaky after I wash it, either by hand or in the dishwasher.

They do the job

What can you say about a metal plate? It's not supposed to look pretty, it's supposed to be useful in a kitchen. I used them for nachos and it worked great, the nachos slid right off and onto the serving plate with no oil or cooking spray on the sizzle platter. That said, when I threw them in the dishwasher, they came out looking not so great. But again, they're designed to be workhorses in a busy kitchen, not look pretty. They're meant for cooking and prep, not serving. So with that in mind, it did it's job and for the price they're great.

Good solid sizzler plate

This is a basic, heavy aluminum sizzler plate. It is good and solid, 10 gage (2.5mm) thick aluminum. It will last probably longer than you. Wash by hand, as bare aluminum does not prefer being run in the dishwasher (it will discolor it). Good value for the money. It came shiny, but will scratch eventually. But that won't hurt it at all. This is utilitarian, restaurant grade cookware. This is not a show piece or fine servingware. I would not hesitate to buy again.

These dishes are great and very useful

These dishes are great and very useful. I use these almost daily for roasting small quantities of veg, reheating single portion meals, quick broiling toppings, or transporting meats/veg to and from the grill. Easily hand washed. So far, no warping even after using to do quick broils. My only complaint is the edges are a bit sharp. On a side note, I received both platters damaged, both bent on one end. Either they were shipped to me damaged or were damaged during shipment (shipped in a thin bubble-wrap envelope, little to no protection for items). The material is so thick I can't imagine how they would have been damaged during shipment unless something extremely heavy was dropped on the package. I'm going to assume they were shipped damaged and will think twice about ordering something supplied by McDonald Paper Restaurant Supplies.
