Can be great for a few extra bucks.

The welded frame assembly is fine and easy enough to get right... but the wheel assembly is tragic. Do yourself a favor and get four M8 x 45mm long socket head cap screws with nuts and use the lock washers that come with this roller and make a solid axle for each wheel. Then use the stock nuts to hold the wheels on. This gets rid of the bind on the wheel when you put weight on the roller and the wheels can spin completely free.

"Tighten" and "Smoothen" all screws

The media could not be loaded. Hopefully by the time you read this the problem has been resolved. Because conceptually this is a great product at a great price. The problem, at least on the one I received, is that if you tighten the screws all the way the wheels don't turn. The instructions say to, "tighten and smoothen all screws." I know how to "tighten" screws. Based on my experience with the Yes4All Glute Ham Glider, "smoothen" means loosen. Since you have to loosen the screws to make them move. Or maybe there's something else that needs to happen. Until "smoothen" is clarified we may never know. Smoothen has two definitions in the dictionary 1. give (something) a flat, regular surface or appearance. 2. deal successfully with (a problem or difficulty). In this case, smoothen is a 2. When you tighten the screws the Glute Ham stops rolling. Which maybe be why this is a Glute Ham Glider, while other companies offer a Glute Ham Roller. Ice skates glide, while skateboards roll. I love Yes4All. My gym has more products from Yes4All than any company other than Rogue or Titan. But the wheels on this need to be fixed. Or maybe it just comes with the wrong screws. Maybe you got a good one, and only mine has bad screws. This product is a 5 if the wheels turn when the screws are tightened. If I have to loosen the screws to make the wheels turn, then something isn't right.

Could be improved

This product could use the proper washers to stabilize the wheels. There is a lot of friction between the wheels and the platform. Ball bearing washers would be ideal.

Decent but the wheels don’t fit well

Seems the wheels aren’t designed well. Tighten too much and they don’t roll, but leave loose and they rub and roll crooked

It Does what it says

Liked - it is perfect for abs and hamstrings will use it alot and my clients love using it. Built soil, wheels are not the best but will work for now. Dislike - when putting it together I thought it was going to be junk. The wheels where lose and rubbing the side. The bolts where not staying tight. The locking washers u dont really need on the outside. Wheels having a hard time turning. After using it for the first day I tightened everything back down and it works perfect. Will see how long this last for before I have to buy new wheels or bolts.

Good Value

Great product for the price point. Works good for hamstring and ab work. My two suggestions: 1. Offset the handle bars so they're higher to prevent knuckles from scraping on the floor while you're holding the unit for ab rollouts. 2. Don't use spring washers between where the wheels connect to the bolts on the outside of the unit. This can make the wheels crooked.

Won't roll with supplied hardware

I assembled it according to the provided instruction and found that the wheels were difficult to roll. Standing on it and pushing off like a skateboard would produce reluctant wheel rotation but a with bit of back and forth the hardware will loosen up and fall off. I then assembled it without the lock washer between the wheel and the glider. This did not help. I bought better hardware, and still no improvement. I then replaced the wheel bearings (608RS sourced from Amazon for seven bucks) I was able to get it to roll freely and had no issues with the hardware loosening up. I did not use the spring washer between the wheel and the glider. This unit is the cheapest option but does require some work to make them function correctly.

Love this piece of equipment.

I’m pretty challenged when it comes to assembling things, but this was simple to put together. And it works great! I’m a personal trainer and use this with my clients. They love/hate it. Very effective!

Throw it straight in the garbage

This product is a piece of junk. So poorly made it can't even be assembled. Don't waste your time with this garbage. What a disappointment.

need better bolts

love this product but am gutted at the same time ,,assemble this as guided and found out it wont roll so try loosing the bolts abit but then the wheel miss in line when you put presser on it ,,had to buy diffint bolts with washers just so a can use it

Poor. Does not run smoothly.

Wheels do not run smoothly with hardware provided. Will have to buy washers, nuts and bolts. I will take the advice of other reviews, as this problem seems very common. Why don’t you provide the correct hardware in the first place? I expect a response…

I was really letdown.

I had such high hopes for this because the price was so nice compared to name brand Sorinex. The bearings were low quality, washers not the right size, and bolts too short. The wheels could barely spin due to the spacers digging into the bearing. If you didn't tighten enough it was wobbly, if you were too tight, it didn't spin. I ended up buying slightly longer hardware from Canadian Tire, replacing all 8 bearings and using more washers to distribute the tension on the bearings. It now works well now, but I had to invest another $20 into fixing it. See photos. Buyer beware.
