Fantastic swim bait for trout and blue fish, highly recommended this item

Great for trout and blue fish and sea bass. Swims great, and recommend this product for fishing. Catches alot of fish.

Good but tends to twist the line

Good action, and caught some fish (smallmouth bass fishing), but the bait spins quite easily, twisting the line quite a lot. Mostly fished it nose-hooked with a small drop shot hook. This problem probably be somewhat controlled in various ways like using certain weighted hooks, like a jig head, or perhaps a Texas-style hook with weight on the shank. Edit: Changed from 3 to 4 stars as they work well, and the line twist issue is the only issue.

Tails warped.

The 'super swimmin fluke' are smaller than the standard 'super' I've gotten in the past- but this being a new product,,.i guess i shouldn't be surprised. Tails on arrival are not squared , buy instead twisted to the point that swim action is compromised. Ive layed them out hoping they might find their way back to form- lets wait and see. Overall: would i buy these again ? Probably yes- but not from Amaxon, as the packaging was overly constricted to where product integrity was compromised
