Great for school

This is the only brand of water bottle that I repurchased because I wanted to, not because I had too. There have been some leakage, only when it wasn't properly closed coming home from school. It's almost the end of the school year and it's still in one piece. Last year for Zac brand I believe I had to buy multiple times to replace them during the year.

Nice water bottles

Got these for my daughter for school. They really like them. I like them too easy to clean they only thing is if they don’t lock them they spill all over. The lock is hard for my 4 year old to open and close on her own.

Lock feature stops working after a while

This started out as our favorite water bottle. It was small enough to fit in my kid's lunch box, the locking feature was easy to use and reliable, easy to take apart to clean. After about 6 months, the locking mechanism just stopped working. We just assumed it was something my kid did to it, so we bought another one. After another 6 months, the locking feature stopped working again. With the lock in place, the "open" button won't open it, but if you push the back of the top, it opens. Clearly, this is an accident waiting to happen inside the backpack. If you are willing to buy new water bottles every 6 months, you might like this. However, it only takes one spill in your backpack to never want to trust it again. If you're interested in trying something similar, we found the Ello Dash Tritan Plastic Kids Water Bottle with Silicone Sleeve to be a great option. It doesn't have a straw, which is even easier to clean.

Locks easily

My son loves this for his school water bottle. It doesn't leak so his belongings stay dry and the open/lock feature works perfectly.

Love this cup

I loved that this cup had the silicon part that keeps this cup from getting cracked easily, which is the problem I had with my kids last cup. But I do have to remove the silicon guard to wash or water will build up under it when washing.

Bought this 7 years ago!!!

Bought this for my son in 5th grade as he prefers to take a packed lunch from home to school every day. He’s a high school senior and this water bottle has never leaked and has been super easy to clean every afternoon when he gets home. He says it’s the best water bottle he’s ever owned!

So disappointed as the reviews had been good so thought it was worth the money, but this bottle just leaks through my childs school bags.

Broken lock

The lock on the bottle used to prevent leaks seems to be defective and loose inside and it’s very difficult to slide over even for an adult (hurts your fingers). My daughter came home with a soaked backpack because she couldn’t lock it and we have the same one for my son who has no issues with his (hence why we purchased a second one). Disappointed. If we could get a replacement lid it would be greatly appreciated.
