Good for slender arms.

Good protection and expected to be better for sliding in a crash opposed to grinding. Using these for electric unicycle riding. Good for more slender arms compared to non-slim size. Less bulk as well.

Dear 187 Killer Pads, please update your size chart. Advice for shoppers: First measure your elbow to see what size you should be according to the 187 Killer Pads size chart, then size up. My elbow measures 9.5” in circumference so I bought the 187 Killer Pads Slim Elbow pads in size small. The inner sleeve was so tight that I couldn’t get them past my forearm when trying to slip them on. They did barely fit if I strapped them on directly to my elbow, without using the sleeve, but they looked kind of dumb with the strap barely reaching around. However, the inner cushion felt absolutely amazing!

SO glad I bought these

These pads saved me from shattering my elbow and radius in a fall. 10/10, would recommend these every day of the week. The doctor said I was lucky I was wearing them, and I feel lucky. This company has some grade A protective pads. Worth every penny.

Bulky, Meh

I bought these along with some other safety equipment, all of which I’m returning. While I don’t think these are bad, I wasn’t wowed with anything. They’re also pretty bulky for something labeled “slim”.

Pay close attention to the size chart.

Not enough adjustment range. As Too tight is preferable to too loose, I bought the size that would just barely fit instead of the ones that might fall off. They are very uncomfortable, they force my arm to be straight if I want to be comfortable, but they do their job and discomfort is minimal compared to a broken elbow. They seem well made, but time will tell. Not a big fan of riveted plastic as some indoor rinks do not allow the metal rivets to be exposed.

Great thin elbow pads

These are just what I was looking for, my only negative is that they are really tight on the top compared to the "standard" version in the same size but I'm still breaking them in so they may stretch out a little bit. *I have been skating in these since my review and they are still a little tight, not much stretching has happened over time. Still great otherwise!*

running small

Size chart is off, I order the medium of 10 inches to 11inches thought I would have room for hoodies, but in reality it is about 9inches, cutting off circulation from my arm, also the lower side is not adjustable at all. At a premium price compared to other brands it is not a great design.

Had to refer to another site that had the sizing info for the slims because only the dimensions of the product were listed by the seller. The pads didn't even reach my elbow...

Thinner than the regular elbow pads (which is good)

They are thinner and more form fitting than the regular elbow pads, less bulky so you can weak a jacket over them, right balance between protection and comfort.
