Good price and easy to install

For the price, I thought it was a good purchase. It's nice and sturdy and holds up multiple coats per hook.

Poor design for mounting

Overall a good product, but a serious problem with mounting. The surface where the mounting holes are located is curved. Using the provided screws... If you drill holes in line with the screw's natural direction (perpindicular to the body at the hole location), the tips of the screws will touch. If you drill pilot holes straight (perpindicular to the mounting surface), the heads of the screws will not be flush with the body of the hanger. Also, the provided screws are too long for mounting on 3/4" thick material, even when drilled at an angle. I had to drill angled holes, cut the tips off of the screws, and pre-thread the pilot holes.

Seems like good quality

Seems like good quality. No rough or sharp edges. Screws and anchors are included. I went in to solid wood with these so didn't need the anchors. Looks good.

Sturdy and Classy

So many choices out there but I am happy I bought these hooks. I just had my Handyman install 4 of them and even He remarked how sturdy and strong these hooks are whether they are inside or used outside, they look classy and smart. Love them! Thanks.

Designed by someone who's never installed hooks before. Fails at both studs and drywall.

There's two different ways to install almost any wall-mounted hardware: into a wall stud, or into drywall anchors. This product somehow manages to fail at both. The screw holes are less than 1/2" apart, so trying to put standard drywall anchors that close together renders both anchors useless by just making one giant hole where two individual anchors are expected to go. If you decide to go with stud mounting instead. the include taper-head screws are only an inch long, so by the time you account for the thickness of the hook itself, plug the drywall, you're only getting less than .25" of grab into a stud, which is pointless. The only use case where these hooks are effective and secure are mounting them directly on top of wood where no drywall is involved.

2 out of 5 had blemishes on top of hook, rest ok. Hook are sturdy and easy to fit.

Bit disappointed with these, because of the blemishes on 2 of the 5 hooks. Amazon Basics have been really good quality for everything electrical I've bought so far. In future, I'll think twice for anything cosmetic / DIY for the missus. That all said. The hooks I have put up are great. Quality screws and socket fit. For hidden away door hooks, they are great. I would not have these as feature pieces in a room though etc.

Coat hooks ????

Nice cheap fast delivery. Holds kids winter gear and seems to have stood up. As always screws are cheaply made and heads strip when using a drill to install
