A toilet seat that really is easy to install and tighten down!!
I've had replacement elongated toilet seats from all the major brands, but this particular seat really was easy to install! I'm a person that normally doesn't look at or read the instructions, (and I don't ask for directions either! Haha) but to save time and pain in my old knees and legs trying to tighten the seat bolts, I actually read the directions! All you need is a 5/8 ratcheting box wrench or 5/8 socket wrench (and maybe a screwdriver depending on what brand you are taking off) take off the old bolts and nuts (usually plastic) on both sides of the toilet seat, pull out the old seat, put this new seat in position, center it on the toilet, then hand tighten both of the plastic bolts on both sides until finger tight. THEN (magic) tighten the plastic nuts on both sides of the seat until the bottom part of the plastic nut shears off on each side! Done! The instructions say if you follow this procedure, tightening until the bottom part of the plastic nut shears off, the seat will be correctly tightened! I hope this was helpful to you!

Great Replacement for a Soft-Closing Toilet Seat
The old soft-closing toilet seat stopped closing softly. So looked for a seat to replace this and decided to go with Bemis. I like the fact that the bolts are metal instead of plastic. The old seat, no matter how tight the connection was, moved on the toilet bowl. This stays put. It is comfortable to sit on. I weigh roughly 165 pounds, though not all that weight is on the seat (legs planted on the floor). But I do notice that the seat flexes in the middle on both sides. Not enough to where it will break. At least so far, so good. The landing blocks on the bottom of the seat should be located more towards the center of each side. Otherwise, this was a great choice.

Best plastic seat out there.
Solid as a rock. So very well made and sturdy. I can tell this will last many a dookies. So much better than other flimsy seats and so worth the extra 10-15 bucks. Buy one from the warehouse and it will be priced the same as those cheapies

Best toilet seat ever!
It's weird to write about a toilet seat but after buying several wood seats, I decided to try a plastic one. Usually the plastic ones are thin, flimsy and they aren't secure. This toilet is secure, sturdy and doesn't discolor. I bought 2 more.

If you need a nice quality basic toilet seat , then you found one. I bought mine last week because my old toilet seat would move but this one is made with metal pieces so it’s more sturdy.

No more SLAM!!!
It's kind of weird writing about a toilet seat. But everybody uses one everyday - many times. We came across this seat a very long time ago. We added the first one with skepticism and was immediately hooked thereafter. The slow close feature is incredible. No more waking everyone in the house up in the middle of the night by the harsh sound of a dropped toilet seat. The slow close feature lasts for around ten years before it begins to fail on average. The material the lid and seat are made of is second to none. They are very durable and solid through and through. No more swollen wood under a thin plastic coated seat and lid that require regular annual replacement. The finish on the seat and lid will remain beautiful as long as you care for it with cleaning solutions, not scouring pads and pumice based scrubbing compounds. Most of the damage we've experienced has been by something like screwdriver in my back pocket when I sit down to tie my boots. They are exceptionally easy to install. The porcelain of toilets can be cracked by over tightening the bolts/nuts that hold a seat in place. This seat has bolts/nuts that have a self limiting torque feature wherein the nuts snap off when the desired torque value is achieved. Therefore your seat and lid are tight enough to stay in place, but not so tight the porcelain gets broken. Once the seat is set, it stays in place. It does not slip and twist when you sit on it (or wrongfully stand on it...). So enjoy! :)

Solid toilet seat, stays in place I feel secure using this seat. Some of the others slide around and I feel unsafe using them.

Ordering a toilet seat via Amazon? Why not!
First of all, I am constantly amazed by all the kind of stuff you can get from Amazon. I mean, ordering a toilet seats is next level. I was looking for a heavy sturdy one and was very satisfied with what I got. I am partially disabled and was anticipating the installation process. To my great surprise, it was very easy to install and it fits perfectly. So easy to clean as well. Would never get a wooden toilet seat ever again. This brand is the Cadillac of all toilet seats. (I am very picky about toilet seats) Never thought I would say that one day but each time I look at it I am happy with my purchase, the easy and well-done installation as well as the look of it. Sturdy product, probably the last seat I will need in a very long time.

Great Replacement
Installation took less than five minutes. Soft close works very well, no more jarring sound of the lid slamming shut! Colour matched toilet perfectly. A bit pricey but great product.

Awesome seat, so great that I replaced all my toilet seats with this one.
This is an awesome toilet seat. It’s sturdy and quality built with thick strong plastic. Soft close is quite slow but is great and has lasted over two years with no issues, no more toilet cover slams. No shifting or wobble at all when you are seated on it. It is solid. Even when sitting on top of the cover there is minimal flex on the cover. Install was straight-forward and the breakaway nuts ensure you have the correct torque on the seat bolts and I haven’t had to retighten since. I highly recommend splurging a bit on this, as we went through several replacement seats that were from well known brands but were either flimsy, poor quality construction, or ended up shifting after awhile. We ended up swapping all our toilet seats out with this even though they didn’t needed to be replaced due to the improved quality of life. As someone who’s lived with IBS and spends an absurdly large amount of time on porcelain, this is ranks just below premium heated seats like Toto in my books.
