SENT THE WRONG CLOTH TWO TIMES!!

i guess they don't make this size any more. when you order this cloth they will send the 11"x 14" instead of the 14.4"x 15" cloth. the bigger one has more silicon on it then the smaller one. the ones that came hardly had any silicon on it. no wonder they keep sending the small ones instead of the bigger ones..

Shine On!

This is a terrific product. For those who may be new to firearms, the cloth is not meant for heavy cleaning. It is meant to be used to wipe the gun down between uses and after a good cleaning. I wipe down my EDC at least every other day. It does a good job of removing fingerprints and such, and leaving a protective film. I have used it on stainless, polymer, wood and alloy with good results. By the way, the cloth is NOT supposed to be wet to the touch. You're not looking to give the gun a bath, just a wipe down. After using what may seem to be a dry cloth, you should be able to see the difference on your gun and feel the silicone on your hands. Keeping it sealed in the plastic bag from the factory (or, in a Ziploc bag), will keep it ready to go for quite some time. I have a can of pure silicone that I use once in a while just to recharge the cloth. I keep one in my cleaning kit and one in my range bag. I think that you'll be pleased with this product.

Leaves lots of lint behind.

It does shine, removes fingerprints and leaves behind a protective layer, but it also leaves lots of lint behind which is now all over the inside of my rifle case. Look for a lint free product if purchasing a silicone gun cloth.

Excellent Product - Excellent Value

This Birchwood Casey Silicone Gun and Reel Cloth performs exactly as advertised. It's easily used and appears that it will be long lasting provided it's stored in its resealable plastic bag. It does a great job cleaning and protecting my Colt Peacemaker SAA revolver. Highly recommended.

Recommended for you guns and reels

Great for keeping you gun in tip top condition. An impregnated cloth to both keep your gun dust free and give both the wood and metal sections a healthy shine. Frequent use will keep your weapon in top condition for years. Cheap, but not cheaply made.

Could do with being a bit bigger

I got 2 of these back in January 2020 and although the product is fine the price has gone from £3.56 to over £11 each. I was going to get more but you can keep 'em Amazon. Extortionate price!
