Old Trailer, New look

I went out on a limb an got these because fish was biting and I needed to get my boat in the water. I had a 16ft trailer so there was adequate wiring and installation was easy The first time I put the trailer in the water I forgot to disconnect the lights. I ½ expected an electrical short based on other reviews I read elsewhere. Well I’ve used the trailer 4 more times after that and so far no issues. I will wait a few more weeks and check to see is there are any corrosion build up or shorted bulb or anything like that but so far, I love em. They do bring a new look to my old trailer. My only set back was finding a way to run the wiring to the trailer frame because it’s made out of rectangle tubing with no ledges or anything to attach the wiring clips. I’ll update this review in a couple of weeks after I inspect the lights.

Great AMAZON Warehouse buy on an excellent product

Really great price. I have a 2006 Landrover LR3 that I use for towing my boat. I must use incandescent lights on my boat trailer. They needed to be refreshed and these fit the bill perfectly.

Wires too short for average boat trailer

The wiring kit is too short... found this out after I had partly installed the set. Had to splice in extra wires to reach back of trailer. I even called the manufacturer and they stated the wiring harness was 24 feet long... NOT TRUE - mine was less than 20 feet. Be sure to check length of your trailer prior to starting the install - you may need to return the kit due to short length wires. In addition, the mounting hardware supplied with the kit is NOT stainless steel. In this day and age, plain zinc finish hardware for a boat trailer application which definitely will be in water makes no sense.

Advertised as submersible “Not”

Installed these lights in October 2019. They stopped working at the end of November 2019. Less than two months old and I discovered water and rust in the lights. They had shorted out completely. See pictures. They are complete junk and carry no warranty. Take a look at the Other reviews on this product and you’ll see this is an inherent problem with these lights.
