Used these for a muddy area in the yard, work great! We had a little mud forming near the chicken coop. I laid these down in a grid, and no more muddy boots.

I use these for a camp game.

I play this outdoor camp game in which we pretend the ground is lava and that campers have to pass through an area of "lava" on "stones" that they carry. I use these portable stepping blocks as the "stones." These stepping blocks consist of one anchor block and nine top blocks for ten blocks total. Just find the anchor block, put the nine top blocks back on top, and you are drop stones and pick up stones quickly. Plus, you can carry the entire block with one hand.

These are NOT marketed as Leveling blocks

Many reviewers have written reviews of this product based upon them being LEVELING blocks. These are not marketed as such so it's no wonder that reviewers have described them as being deformed after trying to level large RV's with them or that they are too small for leveling purposes. They are excellent for what their description describes: being used as portable stepping stoves. I use them as (1) support for my bottom entry step (a step saver); (2) to form a dry walkway area across any wet areas around the campsite and (3) to create an entry way / area into the Airstream that will help remove dirt from the shoes of those that are about to enter the RV. No where in the product description does it describe them being used to level an RV, especially a motorhome so such negative reviews are based upon incorrect usage of this product. Overall a great product. I purchased a set after seeing them being used around a very soggy water faucet at an RV Park in Vicksburg, MS during the monsoon season. I had to stand in an inch or so of water just to be able to hook up to the water faucet. These would have kept my shoes dry while hooking up my water hose to the faucet.

Great in the mud

I purchased these for a fall camping trip. I knew there would likely be rain and mud and wanted something for the entrance of my camp. They worked perfectly. I set them up side by side to form more of a platform rather than a path. They stayed in place and gave me a clean area to remove my boots and keep my feet clean so I didnt track mud all over. Easy to transport too they stack and a quick twist locks them together. I'll be getting a second pack to cover the entire area under my awning.

Pretty good!

You might want to put something under them because weeds will grow through, but they have been sturdy and are easy to move around if needed.

Stepping Stones for Safety

These portable stepping stones are great for the path from patio to kennel. Wearing a path that is water saturated makes it muddy going out or in. When it freezes, it becomes slippery and a fall hazard. Dropping these right on the path it gives a firm traction and safe trek to let the fur-babies in or out. They're removable when the weather is better. A great purchase towards safety! I have been reading other reviews about this product and I don't understand why people would try to put hundreds, if not thousands, of pounds onto these plastic pavers. I don't see how one could use them to level out their RVs. These are plastic, like milk crate plastic, so if you want to use them to put a several hundred/thousand pound RV onto these things, you would be wasting your money. If you are using them to create a safe path through a muddy area, maybe a small "patio" type area (again, maybe) then these are for you.

Octogonal Step "stones"

While designed of plastic, these are sturdy units (10) that are easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store. Very pleased. There is some confusion as these are listed with leveling units. The octagon ones are for stepping, not leveling. The others are for leveling, and work well for that purpose..

Makes a sturdy path out of nothing

I have a path to the cottage that has gravel. The gravel of course would find it's way into the cottage from our shoes. I placed these portable stepping stones in my gravel path and problem solved. I also placed them in dirt so that when it rains no more mud under your shoes. They are sturdy and really level things out. I bought two packages to use around the cottage.
