Great for an ice rink

We bought these string lights to put under the liner of our ice rink. All bulbs were working when I opened the package, and all bulbs have continued to work all winter. And this has been a cold and brutal winter. We put these directly on the ground, under the liner, and then filled the rink with water. They have held up well and I couldn't be happier. The color is a cool white which looks great with the ice.

Easy to install and cut to size

Does the job exactly as I anticipated. Easy to install and cut to size. Very bright clean white light. I installed this under the eves of my house and it acts as excellent security lights. So bright that it goes through the room darkening shades and bleeds into house. I put these on a remote controler timer so we can turn them on and off when ever we want.

Would not recommend for outside use

The lights went dim really quick. Would not recommend for outside use.

It started burning and metled on the third time we used it

The third time we turned the lights on, it started to burn and smoke, it melted the led housing and totally burned and charred the internals, as you would expect it no longer works. We understand that these things can happen to any product. Thanks to great support from Amazon I have coordinated a return and for a replacement to be sent. If it was not for this initial malfunction I would have given it 5 stars because we were very pleased after installing it.
