Nice Sized Trunk Jewelry Box

When I first opened the delivery box, I was surprised to see how big the trunk is. Its heavy too, but in a good way, I think, being that I have not put anything in yet. But I won't be carting it around that much anyway! So I open the truck and was again surprised, just from viewing how much storage space there is. I'm not so sure now that I have this much jewelry, but hey I use that as motivation! As I begin exploring other parts of the trunk, I notice that one of the shelves are lop-sided. As I further inspect, I see the slat that acts as a drawer hinge can come unglued from the trunk wall. In fact, as I removed the drawer, the slat fell down, as well as the remaining slats. Looks like the glue did not take to the sides of the trunk wall, which is also not 100% wood. It's like that better quality particle board I see at Home Depot. I am in debate as to if I should return the item, but after reading Wolf's return policy, it seems I have to file a claim with UPS if the product is found to arrive in damaged condition. The conundrum is how would I know if its a shipping defect or manufacturing defect? A defect is a defect right? All I know for sure as a Consumer, the product was delivered to me in a way that I don't think the company designed it to be. Please note that is is faux leather on this trunk and may not be suede in the interior. I am also concerned about the gold metal material make up and its shelf life. The quality overall could be much better though. I will say this, don't even bother with Rawallan of Scotland! They have way too much drama going on to even be in business. Their Dede trunk was an Oprah's Fave for 2012. I ordered in December and still have yet to receive due to Customs, back order, and now trunk redesign. I demanded my money back from Rawallan and found Wolf Designs for a lower cost. This trunk is far less expensive than Rawallan. Not that cost is the issue, but Im just looking for quality and keep coming up short. In summation, the Wolf Designs truck is okay, but make sure yours comes in tact! I hope it lasts at least thirty years.

Bigger IS better!

I had a pretty big Wolf leather jewelry box for 15 years. the handle had broken and I wanted a larger one ... so I started looking. I guess I didn't really pay attention to the dimensions, but it looked like it had ample space to hold my jewelry. It arrived and all I can say is WOW WOW WOW. Love it! It's big but holds everything. All my earrings can be seen! I love it love it love it!

So-so

I was torn over this trunk. On one hand, its functionality beat any other trunks I’ve seen, hands down. Especially if you have lots of earrings. On the other hand, it arrived with a ripped shelf and a sloppily glued lining. Also, I was looking for something made with genuine leather instead of plastic. So ultimately, considering the price I paid and my dissatisfaction with the product, I returned it. Had it been made with leather and a little more carefully, I would have been overjoyed to keep it.

Highly Recommend

Just received and think this is exactly what I need. I have two drawers in my closet that now house almost all of my jewelry and there is so much wasted space. I am going to rearrange a few shelves to house this and once and for all have all of my jewelry organized in a space saving and safe place!! The case is beautiful, sleek, great quality, and excellent use of space for all types of jewelry. Highly recommend.

Very pleased

I just received the trunk and was pleased with how nicely and carefully it was packaged. I am almost overwhelmed by its storage capacity. It appears to be very well constructed and nicely designed to hold all of my jewelry nicely. It is heavy but given its size, the amount of jewelry it can hold, and the infrequency of times I will actually move the trunk, I don't find that to be too much of a hardship.

Really large

Would have given 5 star, if not for the box giving off Musty Smell especially the inside. Even smells Musty when closed on top of dresser. Also what is the bottom drawer for?

This is of the finest look for the finest jewelry.. It has a spot for everything.. Protected well for shipping and was here in what seems a very short time.. My wife loves it so it makes a great gift as well.. I am glad I purchased this trunk.
