Remote stopped working????????

This is exactly what we were looking for and though very pleased with the light itself but after a year the remote stopped working- it’s completely dead even with new & tested batteries installed, of course our hands are tied because we can no longer return it, so disappointed to say the least????????

Classy. Perfect. Excellent warm light for wall art.

I've now bought seven of these since 2020 - that's how much I like them. This is a well-constructed, high quality product. Traditional picture-light design. The brushed brass looks fine on my gilt frames; glad I didn't get the polished brass. I installed directly on the back of the frame. The light is a traditional warm white with 5 light levels and the brightest levels are brighter than I want. I think the battery life is excellent on these - one in the kitchen I keep lit each evening and the batteries last nearly a month. These are the only way I can get this look without putting new electric lines through plaster walls, so I couldn't be happier with them. All the others I see that are battery operated are too contemporary looking, or cheap looking, or cost a lot more than these, and/or are dependent on AAA batteries which last about three days. None of the negative reviews or complaints about these apply to my purchases and use of them.

Easy to install and works fantastic

We have beautifully framed antique movie posters throughout our home and 85% of them have plug-in picture lights however there are a couple of walls that we recently hung more posters without an electric box behind to install an electric picture light. My husband initially had one of those small cheap spotlights and set it on the floor however it looked tacky and the first guest that used this room was bound to knock it down getting out of bed. I saw this online and was intrigued because our home is filled with antiques and our other picture lights are all done in the antique brass finish like this one. We only bought one to try it, due to the expensive price, and it is fantastic. Although it’s a warm light, it does cast a brighter LED lock however it is very easy to install and it works great. We intend to purchase a couple of more and I believe that one remote will control two or more of these in the same room. I know it’s battery-operated, but wish the battery time would last a little longer because we have some extremely high movie posters but changing the batteries would be a nightmare so we are sticking to the lower posters that are easy to reach for when the batteries need changing. Highly recommend.

Quality build light, adds ambiance to your favorite wall art

Wanting to add a light to a painting, I wanted to stay clear of cords and having to drill holes. I picked this light due to the pretty good reviews and comments on longetivity of the light when turned on. So far, I am very pleased with the amount of light it throws, the build quality, and ease of use. I mounted it to the wall using the screws and dry wall anchors, and was able to easily adjust the length of the light, rotation (left or right, up or down). My photo shows the light on the second lowest setting (this gets bright). The hue of the light is not yellow, nor led bright white. This is the perfect shade that balences both. I cannot comment on how long the batteries last, but will update my review when I have a better idea. This uses 3 C batteries and it makes the light kind of top heavy. Giving this four stars due to the significantly higher price for similar lights I've seen on Amazon. I will change my review to 5 stars if the batteries last as long as reviews say they do.

Arrived quickly. Easy to install!!

I don’t often go to the trouble to write reviews but I feel like this is a great product. And my house was built I had clock outlets installed so I could use the plug-in picture lights. Afterward, I had some put in because it’s so nice to have the ability to light up a special picture or portrait. The clock outlets are hard to install after your home is built so this offered a fabulous alternative. So easy to work and so easy to install on the the portrait frame. I’m ordering another one for another portrait. What a great option to using the electric picture lights.

Bulb cannot be replaced

Nice product, works well, looks nice and easy to install. The only downside is they say the bulb has 50,000 hours. However, only got about two years of intermittent use before the bulb went out. The bulb cannot be replaced on this fixture! It is hard fastened within the fixture. So if the belt goes out the fixture is useless!

Too heavy for frame attachment.

Much too heavy to attach to frame as only able to use 2 of 3 screws provided as frame too narrow. Didn’t want to attach to wall.
