Decent cream, but not very good value.

Nice cream, and I'm using it on myself rather than a baby. The consistency of it is OK, and feels nice to apply. The moisturising effects are quite nice when applied and it feels smooth. A small amount is enough for small patches, so not a lot is needed. No sticky feeling after use, so it absorbs quite well, which is important for babies to make sure they don't try to rub it off from being uncomfortable. The scent is quite nice and mild. I prefer no scent/odourless moisturisers, but it's better like this than a scent I don't like and distracts me from sleep if I use it just before going to bed. Scent is down to preference, but if it can be avoided, it should be, so that no one would be upset by it. Of course, this is just my preference. Effects are a mix. It's not really helping with my rash, but does help to keep it moisturised and feels better. £9.99 is quite expensive, and I'm not sure this is good value when there are bigger brands with more established products that are cheaper and offer similar qualities. Decent, but unfortunately feels too expensive for what it is when compared to alternatives.

It's a nice creamy consistency, absorbs well and doesn't leave a greasy or sticky residue. And is fragrance free as stated. I tested it on my hand before using it on my son and it applied well but I didn't notice any moisturising effect and didn't seem to leave any sort of barrier. when spraying a little water on my hand after using this cream I saw no such barrier effect, I expected the water to bead up and roll off but it didn't. I expect a nappy/diaper cream to help to protect baby's skin from moisture damage associated with wearing nappies and I don't think this will do that. Creams/lotions made mainly of water as this one is, are not very moisturising long term so I wouldn't feel happy using this for it's intended purpose because I don't think it would be protective enough. It's also very expensive for this quantity of a nappy cream, £9.99 at tome of ordering, there are far more budget friendly options. If I had paid for this I would have been very disappointed in the quality and looking for a refund.

You get 100ml of this cream for your tenner. It's manufactured in Spain and distributed by a UK company. It's vegan-friendly. It's intended for use on the nappy area. It's not dissimilar from the old-fashioned zinc and castor oil cream since, after water, it's a main ingredient in zinc oxide which is relatively hypoallergenic and soothing. It has almond oil, coconut oil, glycerine, marigold, jojoba oil and a few stabilisers and and preservatives. It may not be suitable for children who are allergic to botanicals from the daisy family. The ingredients only appear on the packet, so if you are concerned there maybe issues with them and you may need to refer to them, do not throw it away. The tube is hygiene sealed and has a very fancy lid what appears to be wooden-coated. I would have preferred a less gimmicky lid and a cheaper price tag. It's a light cream that absorbs easily. It's not at all greasy like the old-fashioned type. If it suits, the price is right, this is a good option.

Soothing barrier cream

This is a small tube of nappy rash cream. I was impressed to see the wooden top as it looks great and appears eco friendly, though there is actually a plastic top inside the wooden lid, so is more for aesthetics. The cream itself is a slightly thinner sudocrem style cream, it's white and blends in well, it isn't as thick and dense as sudocrem but has similar properties of both moisturising and a slight barrier in between changes, Tube wide i'd prefer a flip top than the screw lid as during changes you need everything to be quick and with one hand usually so i'd prefer the cap to flip but I appreciate some will enjoy the style of the wooden screw top. A good cream but for currently £9.99 it wouldn't be something i'd be able to continue buying as we get through so much nappy cream!
