Works as expected. The tail light for this does not.

I love this rack. The tail light they offer for it is not worth it though, and you'll want it if you use paniers. Just rig up some cheaper light if you can.

simple to put on and take off

bought the saddle bag frame as well. I am good to go. I really like the snap on fold out paniers with this.

Easy to install and well engineered

This is a great value and is very well designed. It fits seamlessly on my Topeak beam rack which I came to learn is engineered to be easily and securely attached. I completed the simple installation in 15 minutes and it will be a snap to remove and reinstall. Along with the pannier bags I purchased I will be able use my bike for medium size grocery purchases. Hats off to Topeak.

Very durable rack

I have owned one for ten years and took it on an 1,800 mile road trip. It does a great job of holding the weight that I have put on it and I have exceeded the weight limit many times. The one con that I have found with it is in its clamp. It is too large for most seat post and very difficult to get secured and keep it from swinging side to side while you ride.

Best option for loading up a road bike

This the best option for carrying stuff on your round-seatpost bike lacking bosses for rack mounts. It's limited in load, but still effective for touring.

The Topeak system works very well for full suspension mountain bikes, where the attachment is limited to the seat post, The pannier frame is necessary if you have the side bags deployed and anything in them. If you don't use the frame the bags will hit your rear wheel or related parts. The bags do have a parachute cord at the bottom that I tried to use to tie the bottom of the bags to outer portion of the axle and the quick release but with any weight in the bags while riding off road, the bags still hit. On smooth roads and at low speed the cords alone will hold the bags off the wheel but any decent jolt will cause them to hit.

Commuting solution

Topeak's Dual Side Pannier Frame greatly extends the usefulness of their Beam Rack. Indeed, the panniers for the Beam Rack can't be used without them, since they would sway and hit the wheels. The combined assembly is lightweight and easily transferred from one bike to another, especially if the seat tubes are the same or similar diameter (significantly different diameter tubes require exchanging the rubber inserts on the Beam Rack clamp). It took some searching to find this Dual Side Frame after I bought the Beam Rack and the Panniers. I suggest all three items be linked together, since they form a functional unit.

Was fiddling bugger.

Help if instructions were clearer special about the black faster put behind the frame not on the outside.. But soon figure it out now my bike looking good but am happy with the outcome.

Exactly what I was looking for.

Exactly as described and arrived quickly, these are the side bits to go on my Topeak rack. Good quality and easy to fit to my rack. So much easier to use a pannier for my commute instead of a rucksack.

deceptive and unreal photos

description has nothing to what you receive , buy from another seller. you will receive two useless metal arcs. it is shame to put photos not reflected the products ...I have never returned a product ..but in this case I am keen to do so

Simply bolts to the beam rack

Bought this to all the MTX pannier bag to be carried for commuting. Very simple to fit and usual Topeak quality
